Motel 6 New Cumberland, PA - Harrisburg - Hershey South

I love that place , peaceful and clean, i always go there for relaxation

Yes, this is an old budget motel that looks run-down on the outside (including a covered pool that probably will never again be operational). But I stayed there for two nights, and my room was clean, the shower had been updated, the air conditioning worked well, and I received the first-floor room I had asked for when I booked online. There was fresh hot coffee in the lobby each morning when I walked in at 6 a.m. Both desk clerks I spoke with were pleasant and helpful. The ice machine made plentiful ice. I got what I needed for my stay next door to the facility where I was attending an event, and the price was very low.

Don’t stay here. It is an absolute dump. We needed a place to sleep and leave the next morning. I’m hoping we make it out without getting some unknown type of communicable disease. Comforter was stained. Shower was dirty. Only two pancake thick pillows. The bed was awful and there was hair all through it. Took almost an hour for the room to warm up, but when we found the hair in the “clean” bed we decided to check out and drive through the night.

I have never been so disappointed and disgusted in a hotel in my life! We wouldn't have stayed if our reservations weren't paid for in advance, never have I had to clean a room before I could use it! The staff actually gave me clothes and cleaning supplies! Don't stay there save your money. I had to use tissues/baggies to even push elevator buttons! And elevator smelt like piss! And was never cleaned at all!!!!! Not to mention small room size, we had two dou left beds and one was tight to the bathroom wall, and other was up touching air conditioner. We were told move the nightstand to make room. Also fridge and microwave were right at door way. Door wasn't sealed proper so bugs could get in. I even went to Walmart and bought a bath mat and towels as we felt theirs weren't cleaned properly!

Very dated looking Motel 6. Building has obviously not seen a renovation in many years. And it shows. Very convieniant to the highway, however when we first pulled in wondered if we had made a mistake ... Man at the window was pleasant and informative , the swimming pool probably has not been used in years, and it shows. Our room was on the 3rd floor , and there is only 1 hot elevator in the middle of the building. For what we paid the room was ok, and were only there for a place to sleep, so ok with low thrills. Room was clean (except for the deceased roach on the tv stand) , the beds were comfy despite the well stained bed linens that need replaced, and there was no refrigerator or hair dryer. No room service, but thats a covid thing I think, you had to take your towels or whatever needed attention to the walk up window and they would replace them. But again, for what we paid , it wasn't bad.
