I stayed here following my car breaking down nearby. I arrived in the middle of the night. The staff were all incredibly kind. The room was comfortable, good Wi-Fi, clean and comfortable and the food was very good. Thank you

Stayed as part of a Leger battlefield tour. Clean and well-appointed room. Excellent buffet breakfast and supper menu for restaurant in evening. A special mention to the sunny Anne Sophie who really looks after and interacts with customers.

Room good. Comfy large bed and good shower. Could do with providing kettle etc, in room. Breakfast was good as was restaurant food. Staff very friendly. TV in room only had BBC news no English Chanel’s. We did manage to select English through settings and choosing audio.

We arrived quite late on Monday for a five day tour of the beach landings. We were met by Anne Sophie who has a great command in english and a very nice greeting. All week we were greeted with friendly smiles and a chat. Our room was basic but clean with very comfortable beds. The food was not 5 star but nice and filling at a reasonable price. Keep away from the scrambled egg, my only complaint. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. All the staff were professional and friendly with big smiles and a nice attitude. But there is always that one person who stands out and that was Anne Sophie. Thank you for making our stay that little bit more enjoyable. Would we stay here again.....YES

As with many other reviews we stayed here for a Leger D Day tour. First the positives; it is clean and nicely set out, my room was basic but clean and had an excellent shower, room was also quiet. Now the negatives; breakfast was very poor with cold bacon and congealed scrambled eggs, there was a continental option but that was pitiful with little or no fruit available and very little choice. Also we were told just before arrival that the restaurant was closed both Saturday an Sunday nights as they had no staff, this meant we had to go into Caen both nights. A bit of an inconveience but Caen is beautiful thankfully. Alli all not bad.

We stayed here on a Ledger D Day beaches tour. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and everything you expect from an Ibis hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and my room was spacious, well equipped and the shower was very good. Meals are very basic. Breakfast wasn't the best ( congealed bacon and scrambled eggs) but plenty on offer for continental. 24hr bar was a treat and staff are brilliant. As it was during the European football championships the bar staff joined in cheering England so we then cheered on France when they played! We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
