SureStay Hotel by Best Western Falfurrias recensioner

Bed bugs. Don’t stay. Room looked good. Got in bed started itching a little bit ignored it. Woke up to a bed bug on my mattress that I killed and left blood on the sheet. Never seen one before so I looked one up and yep that was what I had the pleasure of waking up to.

The television didn't work. The refrigerator was not plugged in correctly so it took hours to cool. The guestroom key had to be reprogrammed EVERY SINGLE TIME I left the room. So I had to walk to the office every time. The toilet got clogged and overflowed all over the bathroom floor. There were bugs in the folded towels. The top of the main door had a huge gap so cigarette smoke from outside came into the room. You could see how big the gap was when all the lights were off in the room and the outside light came streaming in. I was told there was full occupancy and no other rooms were available but there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. The bed is also extremely uncomfortable.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel while visiting family in Falfurrias. Their desk clerk, Junie is exceptional. She always makes sure our stay goes off without a hitch. Rooms are clean and spacious. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Cleaning crew would take dirty sheets and pillow cases i put on the floor and put them back in the bed as if they changed them, and management was notified and the problem continued to happen. There was bugs and the internet was not strong enough to connect even the tv to. I stayed here for months and the gym stayed closed down. Hot tub does not work either. It is the same two breakfast meals switched on and off it’s just a different way of cooking the eggs each time. The only good about staying so much was getting the reward points for free nights at better best westerns. I do not recommend staying here long term.

Came to visit family for the weekend. Previously stayed here a year ago. Room was really clean both times, but this last stay, room was very clean, but had a bit of a nasty smell. Other than that, everything else was great.
