Merchants Manor Spa

Recently stayed here, my work placed a number of us in the hotel. It is large and spacious, a good size pool and steam room. The gym looked well equipped (but I never used it). The room itself was large enough and comfortable with a good shower and lovely shower gel and shampoo. It seemed to be a double bed, but was two beds pushed together, this didn’t bother me as I was alone, but as a couple, it would, but it was comfortable. There was also noise from neighbouring rooms and upstairs. The room I stayed in was on the ground floor opposite the pool, and you had members of the public using the gym and pool. It did get annoying people walking past chatting away first thing in the morning and evening, the loud music from the gym was also very annoying, a few times I went in and turned it down as there was no one in there. The breakfast had a good selection and breakfast staff were all lovely and friendly. But the cooked portions were very small to be honest. Nevertheless very nice. The menu for guests staying there was also very limited. I think the hotel would benefit to having signs up along the corridor leading to the gym and pool, asking users to respect the fact people may be sleeping. One thing I really did not like, one of the managers offered a crowd of us each a free pint if we left a 5star review.

Booked this for a mid week break so we could explore Falmouth. The hotel was clean, tidy and the rooms were a good size, well kept and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the pool and steam room were an added bonus. The one negative would be the limited menu available should you want to eat there. The food they do serve was good but there was very little choice however with the bars and restaurants a short walk away it isn't really an issue. Overall, for the money paid it was really good value and I'd happily return again in future.

Had the pleasure of living here for a month. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this lovely hotel. I will miss it massively and shall endeavour to return. The Merchants Manor offers a lovely pool and steam room with additional SPA services. Breakfast wise, the staff cannot do enough for you. You are presented with a very wide range of options. Always well looked after in the bar, Maja and Manuel are two highlights amongst some excellent staff who cannot do enough for you.

Best hotel in Falmouth :) Fantastic bar staff! Particularly Maja, Manuel, Oscar, Lilly, Victoria and Max I would 100% recommend booking this hotel for any trip away you’re planning in Falmouth. The owner Nick is also a great lad!, have a great summer!

Soon as we arrived at the hotel we were so overwhelmed how beautiful the place was! Our room was upgraded which we were grateful and the room was outstanding! We really enjoyed using the facilities and ending our evening by a log fire with a few drinks. It was just what we needed. Staff were kind and helpful. Only one suggest is that a dinner menu needed to be displayed as we couldn’t see any. Our breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choices to choice from. Overall we will definitely be back.

Stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Friendly welcome and a room upgrade. All the staff were really friendly, special mention to Simon. I recommend the Sunday sleepover which includes a fabulous roast. Easy walk into town. Will definitely return.
