Lovely ground floor room and nice large shower room. Big comfy bed. Food v good. The lamb especially good. All the staff were lovely, especially the welcome from Bailey the cat!. A nice walk to the village. One night definitely not enough, will be back!

We had a lovely peaceful stay. The room was lovely, and on the ground floor made it manageable for me. The inn was lovely , comfy, the food was superb. the roast beef was the best I have ever had. the Apple crumble was exceptional . The surroundings are so beautiful. go , and enjoy it!

A delightful country inn on the edge of Kielder forest, the Pheasant Inn was a last minute choice that exceeded expectations on all fronts! The two big standouts that made the stay exceptional were the people and the food. From the grreting on arrival through to the disappointed goodbyes on departure every single person we encountered was warm, friendly, and couldn't do enough to help. Add to that food quality more typical of a 5* hotel (cheese souffle & spiced parsnip soup to die for, and vege Wellington packed with wild mushrooms!). Follow it up with the best breakfast of our holiday and you know you're on to a winner. If our travel plans had allowed it we'd have cancelled our bookings for the following two nights and stayed where we were.

A beautiful place, great food, very well run, clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay at the Pheasant . Owners and Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing , we booked a table for each night of our four night stay and enjoyed every meal. Extensive selection of drinks at the bar.

A welcoming, cosy, traditional, country pub. Peaceful location. We stayed for 1 night - the bed was comfortable and the breakfast set us up for the day ahead, cooked to perfection. We also had an excellent dinner - the food was full of flavour. The hotel was off our route but it was well worth the detour. We would definitely visit again to stay overnight and have dinner, or to try the lunch and enjoy the outdoor seating which we were unable to take advantage of on this visit, due to the weather. Well done to everyone involved!

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed 3 excellent breakfasts and dinners, all of which were cooked fresh. All staff were friendly, helpful and professional, taking the time to get to know us and ensure we had a great stay. This is an ideal location for exploring Kielder and visiting the Observatory

A lovely country inn, providing a good standard of accommodation, and high quality food, both at dinner and breakfast. Our room (no.8),although relatively small was pleasant with a very comfortable large bed and a good ensuite, with an excellent shower. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed the Pheasant, from the welcome when we arrived to the delicious evening meal, we were really looked after. The room was wonderfully decorated, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was also wonderful. Would recommend this to anyone looking to stop in Kielder

We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Pheasant. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed - including a lovely view. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent with plenty of choice. The home made black pudding was certainly worth breaking the diet for!
