Holiday Inn Express Fargo SW - I-94 Medical Center

They have a great staff, its good location, but needs work/updates. The foyer and eating area benches are literally falling apart. I have seen it get worse over time. Room furniture show wear and common areas such as ice/soda could be cleaned better. I finally got around to doing a review. They have a new GM so maybe things will change. Attention to detail is a bit off. The TV is very wobbly on its stand and they are also older tv’s as well. I would stay again, the hotel just needs an update.

This is such a nice hotel. The staff was friendly and kind our whole stay and even provided a few courtesy waters at check in. Our room was HUGE it was a double queen and it was one of the largest hotel rooms i have ever stayed in. There was pleanty of room to spread out with extra chairs and a large desk with pleanty of outlets. The shower was spacious with tons of pressure and hot water and loaded with fresh towels and good soaps. They also had a nice little workout room with some weights and a treadmill. The free breakfast was delicious I had scrambled eggs, sausage and a fresh waffle but they had tons to choose from. The location was right smack in the middle of Fargo so there was pleanty in walking distance included a Wal Mart and tons of shopping. I had a awesome stay and I will definitely be back!

We are Diamond members and we had listed high floor as preference but ended up on 1st floor. Our room #108 is in bad shape. The bathroom has a whole corner edge broken and torn out, the bathroom door has significant water damage and warped at the bottom, the towel racks on the front of the vanity are gone, but screw holes are there. The couch is dirty with stains, the plug in for a phone on the lamp on the night stand by the bed is so worn out and loose, it wouldn’t charge my phone. I had to charge my phone across the room. We came back from the Big Iron Show and our keys wouldn’t work, after getting them reset 2 times, the gal at the front desk said she would send the manager down to put a new battery in the door lock. He finally came and fixed it and I showed him the items that are in bad shape in the room. He said the repair guy would be working on it, but had been working on the pool lately. Hmm, seems like another time we stayed here, 6 months ago, the hot tub was unusable. Breakfast was ok, but seemed to run out of coffee, milk, and orange juice. The kitchen lady finally refilled them, but took awhile. She was in no hurry. She didn’t seem to be checking these things until someone asked if they had anymore. We never saw her wipe a table down. We had to ask for extra towels as there are only 2 sets in a king room with couch bed. There are some sketchy people in the lobby and apparently one of the took some laundry supplies without paying for them. We will probably stay somewhere else next time.

Just spent the one night there to attend a concert at The Bluestem Theatre. The hotel was clean, staff friendly, and the rooms were very large and clean. Breakfast is the typical one served at most hotels, so not great but it was ample to get me started for the drive home.

This Holiday Inn Express was a REAL let down after staying 4 nights at the HI Express in Shakopee. The hot tub jets were not working & front desk said they did not know when they broke (or did not want me to know). Breakfast area to get food was too small an area. Only instant oatmeal, no buns, very limited offerings. Coffee & pancake machine ran out & the garbage was overflowing. Carpets in elevator and halls have seen better days.

While on a solo cross country trip, I was so thankful to finally arrive at the hotel. Justin at the front desk was wonderful! He was so welcoming and kind, just what I needed after a very long day of driving. He told me everything I needed to know, and he knew that I was exhausted and didn't overwhelm me with questions or details. He was the perfect person to greet me upon my arrival. The hotel is lovely and super convenient to the highway. I had everything I needed, and I was grateful to be in a safe and comfortable environment. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great hotel! The front desk customer service reps were so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and so was the breakfast buffet area. Great location close to all the shopping. The breakfast was above average. Omelettes, yogurts, fruit, bagels, cereals just to name a few. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall an amazing experience! Staff was courteous and friendly. Room was clean and stocked. Continental breakfast had great coffee and good variety! Great for and traveller. Highly recommend, Only con: pillows were a bit flat but overall a great stay. Will 100% come again.

This property was clean convenient. Front desk was of little help from the time we arrived. Had none of our required options to offer us. Saying we did not make such requests. The following morning the person at the desk saw all requests. Same as in all stays. Nothing earth shattering. No room cleaning during our stay. Breakfast and area exceptional. Resulting in partial refund of out expense of staying.
