We stayed in the Lemon Tree apartenmts which were very nice. The staff at Lemon Tree stay, where we checked in, were incredibly helpful, even when two of our party got lost but manged to find Lemon Tree stay and were given water and instructions and a map to get themselevs back to the aprtments. The staff booked us a hop-on hop-off boat trip to the barrier islands and made sure our stay was amazing.

Fantastic location with access to the centre within minutes. The hotel doesn’t have parking but has a public parking (Saba) literally a few minutes away which was convenient. The hotel is beautiful aesthetically, I love the modern twist and the theme of lemons running throughout. The hosts were also good and very friendly, including their doggy. However, I was super disappointed that my room was crawling with ants. I let the host know and his response was very much ‘it’s that time of the year’. They did then spray the room but all the dead ants remained on the floor and walls. Really off-putting and ruined my stay with them unfortunately.

One of the more pleasant hotels I’ve been to. The whole atmosphere was perfect and the rooms were very nice. Good bed, great shower and all very clean. My compliments! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but more than enough and tasteful. We will visit again the next time we go to Faro.

We spent two nights in Faro after walking The Fisherman’s Trail. The Lemon Tree Stay is really well located and everywhere is within walking distance. (Especially a wee park with kiosk which is an ideal place to chill and watch the locals). The staff were great and our room was really comfortable. Great breakfast. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Starting with the positives. The Lemon Tree is a short walk into the town centre and the marina and Old Town are 10 minutes' walk away. The breakfast is a mouth watering selection of fresh fruit, cold meats and local breads. Good coffee too. On the downside. If like us you're quite senior and arrive too late for a normal check in then the self check in is not recommended. Insufficient lighting on timers make finding your room not only difficult but positively dangerous due to poorly lit steps. Unfortunately both our rooms looked out onto bare walls. We had expected some natural light gived the room rate we paid. All things considered we were disappointed and relieved we were only booked in for 2 nights. We won't be returning .

We stayed five nights in this lovely little hotel in Faro town. It’s ideally placed for restaurants and the old town and a short bus / boat ride to the beaches. Coming in April meant the town wasn’t too busy and we were able to enjoy our stay without having to jostle for space which I imagine you would have to do in peak season. The hotel is a lovely little find and is spotlessly clean with well decorated rooms, albeit the one we stayed in was compact and bijou with storage comprising of a few coat hangers. As you only use the room to sleep in - the beds are very comfortable - the lack of storage wasn’t an issue for us. The breakfasts included in the price were delicious: fresh fruit, four types of bread, granola / yoghurt and eggs washed down with coffee / tea and orange juice and made the stay fantastic value for money. The people working in the hotel were always happy and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Faro.

This is a fabulous little inn with 8 rooms. The owner and staff are lovely and incredibly helpful. The location is perfect, with great access to old Faro. The breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented, and a table in the courtyard with its lemon tree is a fabulous place to start the day. My room, called "introverted," was charming. I hope one day to have an opportunity to stay here again.

This place deserves more stars. The staff are attentive, the rooms clean and well appointed and the breakfasts are wonderful! Parking is a bit of a challenge, but only 3 blocks away after you drop off your bags.

Absolutely fabulous little hideaway in Faro. Beautiful and elegantly designed rooms, very chilled feel, sumptuous breakfast, and very friendly and helpful advice from Vasco, the owner. Highly recommended and definitely likely to stay again!
