Vaali Maldives Island Escapes & Dive

It was our first stay in the Maldives and we couldn’t have chosen better. The island is not touristy, therefore ideal for relaxation and disconnection. It is literally a hidden gem. The accommodation in the guesthouse was amazing, the rooms are spacious, clean, minimalistic and the outdoor shower is an unforgettable experience. The food was always very tasty. The whole hotel is very cozy, there are few rooms, which gives it a family atmosphere. The heart of the hotel is its staff, who elevate your time spent here to another level. Thank you Sanjok, Sushil, Nishant and Jasin, for an unforgettable experience. You are absolutely perfect!!!

It was a perfect stay in Vaali … we already stay 2there in 2018! The hotel is perfect: only 9 rooms very well equipped, clean, minimal and with the typical Maldivian bathroom without roof. The staff is kind and polite, trying in every way to satisfy each need you have. The food is fantastic and is made by an Indian guy; the cuisine is healthy, rise, pasta, chicken, fish (especially tuna), vegetables and exotic fruit. No alcoholic drinks and meat pork not allowed. The only negative remark is on the excursions that we did with the close Alimas hotel because the ratio between price and quality was better, but I know that Vaali will improve also in it.

This is a quaint little hotel on the beautiful island of Fellidhoo. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathrooms are lovely. The rooms could possibly do with a bit more decor as well as a duvet or blanket on the bed. We found it quite chilly and uncomfortable with just a sheet on the bed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that brings them down is the kitchen. I am not saying the chef isn't good - i think he is very good however he obviously lacks ingredients to work with. Half the meals on their a la carte menu are unavailable which is disappointing so you are kind of forced to eat from their buffet at dinner. We personally do not like buffets as it is normally too much food especially for children. We dont feel the buffet had enough choice to warrant 12 USD per person and the dessert was tinned fruit.. Breakfasts are ok but always the same - eggs, sausage, toast, crumpets or French toast and baked beans. There are 2 bikini beaches - the one directly opposite from the hotel and one slightly further up the island. The bikini beach directly across from the hotel is quite rocky but great to go snorkeling from. The one further up the beach is better suited to swimming but also great for snorkeling. The reef at Felidhoo is incredible and you just need to swim from the shore to get there. We saw loads of beautiful fish, moray eels and white tipped reef sharks. At night you must walk to the Harbour and watch all the nurse sharks and sting rays come in. It is quite spectacular to watch. All in all a great stay. We unfortunately didn't get to meet the owners as they weren't there.

Already arrival showed us that we will be taken care of with great care. The very kind owner was waiting for us at the port, who introduced himself to us and told us everything important about the island during the journey to hotel which was less than one hundred meters. When we arrived at the hotel, we received an equally warm welcome from his employees. After accommodate in, we were taken care of by the very nice guy Susil, who take us on a small tour of the island, show us where the bikini beach is, where we can meet dolphins if we are lucky and where is best place for snorkeling. Compared to Maafushi, which we also visited, you don't have to go on any trips, but you can do it yourself with a snorkelling mask, there are countless corals to discover and a huge number of different types of fish. Hotel also providing diving and trips to snorkling spots with two proffesionals divers. On the first evening after dinner, Susil's colleague Sanjok asked us if we would like to go with him to the port to feed the sharks. Sharks sail here every evening and spending the night here. In addition to the sharks, you can also see giant manta rays here! The feeding was great and Sanjok told us that he goes like this every evening. After feeding, Sanjok showed us around the rest of the island, showing us local shops and giving us all sorts of tips, eventually we became friends. Sanjok is a very nice person and so is his colleague Susil, they will take care of you with maximum care throughout your stay. But one who we can't should forget to highlighted is definitely chef Anthony! A nice smiling young man who prepared fantastic meals. Everything was very tasty and well seasoned, we loved his meals. The owner must be very proud of all the employees. Thank's them we felt at home here. Great experience and we'll be glad to visit them all again!

Excellent experience. Beeing in the gest house right on the beach with corall reef. Just take your mask and dive. The owner and staff very kind. The food fresh, local catch tuna and other fishes every Day. Coffe and tea all day, as well as water included . The beach as for the postcards, white sand and the palm tree shade. Highly recomended!

Confermo tutte le bellissime recensioni già scritte. Struttura semplice ma completa di tutto, aria condizionata, pulizia delle camere impeccabile. Doccia a cielo aperto, arredamento spartano ed essenziale, materassi e cuscini comodi. Personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo, cucina semplice ma curata e buonissima con influenze indiane. Ogni richiesta di eventuali piatti particolari è bene accolta nelle loro possibilità naturalmente! Spiagge per ogni gusto ( sabbia, barriera corallina) con ombra sia di piante che con strutture ad hoc. Lettini e sedie a disposizione. Escursioni bene organizzate. Ci tornerei ogni anno!
