Hotel Coco

Just returned from a 3 night stay here, mostly spoilt by very noisy, drunken, wedding guests, for 2 nights so little sleep. We had a nice ground floor bedroom with wet room which was very convenient for me as no lift to upper floors. Didn't have breakfast at £15.95 pp. Had one light meal in bar, awful. Didn't pay, one horrid burger, 2 steak strips, one cold curry & well, the potato dauphinoise, yuck, but apparently it was because restaurant was busy! Don't think Mr MPW would be happy with his name used! No information whatsoever in rooms regarding Felixstowe itself or hotel rules. I probably wouldn't return to this hotel although the majority of the staff were very friendly

Excellent Hotel, Staff Brilliant Especialy David, restaurant is a tad Pricey but the food is excellent. Bed Comfy, Shower and Bathroom Excellent, Very Central Location Beach 5 minute Walk, Shops 5 minute Walk.Has it's own pub, with Dart Board! I stay once every two to three weeks, don't like to rave too much about it, it might just get too popular.

The restaurant is very well refurbished to a high standard but the lights are so dim, you struggle to read the menu and some other tables had to use their phone as a torch. The waitress was very friendly but the lady on the drinks was severely lacking smiles. Chips were fantastic and must be tried to be believed but the sirloin steak was dreadful :- tough, totally unseasoned and i had to chase it around the plate to cut it. I cant believe a steak can go out without a trace of seasoning so can only assume it was an oversight- The rest of the meal was good and i'm sure we will go back but some obvious issues need to be addressed to make this place work.
