We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is great—slightly away from the main tourist areas, so it’s peaceful and less crowded, yet still very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find food and essentials. The hotel faces the river, offering a nice view, and you don’t have to drag your luggage over any rocky paths—the car can drive right up to the entrance, which is a big plus. We stayed in the rooftop room on the 4th floor. While there’s no elevator, the staff were very helpful and carried our luggage up during check-in and back down when we checked out. The owner and staff were all friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is very beautiful, both outside design and in the room. There is no elevator but the hotel staff help us move the luggage up and down. The room is very clean and cozy. We booked a room of four and another room of two. There is a corridor which your will see the river view and the bridge. This zone is far from the old town about 1.5km but very quiet and peaceful. We cantact the hotel for picking us up from train station. The hotel staff, Xiao Long (小龙管家) took very good care of us from the start until we leave the town. We will stay here again if we come back to Fenghuang.

Location is at the other end of ancient town, away from the buzzling centre/crowd. However, it is just 5-10min walk to the centre of ancient town. Suitable for those looking at more peaceful night. The balcony overlooking the river adds on to the beauty of the room!

Room is huge and clean! The owner was super helpful and friendly and I must say the transport pick up/ drop off was a great experience. Remember to contact them via WeChat to arrange for your pick up. Breakfast was served in an oriental style, should you require coffee, please walk further down to purchase yourself.

decent room, simple breakfast

The hotel was nice and the view from the hotel was great too (oversee the river). The only downside is that there is no lift (they are currently trying to build one), and we stayed on level 4, so there was a bit of a climb.

The hotel is very good, very clean, the rooms are nice and large. We received a free upgrade. It is a room with a bathtub on the balcony. The owner of the accommodation takes care very well. Breakfast served to your room and will be dropped off at the train station for free. Recommend traveling by taxi only.

There is no elevator

Spacious and aesthetically pleasing room which made for a relaxing stay at Phoenix Ancient City :) Staff were very kind, friendly and professional, even going out of the way to mail my left behind item to me. 💯 service!

Away from the busy center of the town. Beautifully decorated. The front desk and owner were super nice to us. I really enjoy my stay even only for one night.

Convenient location with good breakfast served. Friendly staff will help with the luggage as there is no lift in the premise.

Overall it was a good stay. It is located at the end river section, so you can still see the lighting up at night but not as much as the middle section. The room was clean but the cushions on the chairs (balcony) were stained. Would suggest to not put cushions and just have Rattan chairs. The room is located at the fourth floor so we had to carry our suitcases up. We read the reviews prior booking so we kind of expected it too and didn't come as a shock. The staffs were very kind and help us to carry the suitcases together. We had an early day next day and the kitchen staffs served us our breakfast prior to the official breakfast start time.
