Fenghuang Jinshuian River View Hotel

Excellent hotel in every sense. The people at the reception are very friendly. They provided a very detailed summary of the key sights which should be visited and suggested an itinerary for Fenghuang ancient town. They also helped carry my luggage up to the room during check in, and to the taxi when we left. The hotel is very well located in the old town, directly adjacent to the rivers edge in the scenic area. The room was great. Two rooms, 2 king sized beds with new mattress and bright while quilts. The room was newly renovated with nice ceramic tiling and a large walk in shower. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff very friendly, would help with luggages up and down, just reminder there is only stairs, no elevator so you’ll just need to get up and down. Right in the middle of the main street of food and drinks, very close to the attraction and small streets, under the hotel (inn) are many traditional Miao outfits to rent. Overall, lovely place, beautiful balcony view!

We really enjoyed the hotel. We stayed in Fenghuang for one night. We took the room with balcony and the view was very nice! Just next the the entrance of the old town and far from the noisy streets. However, being on the river, you get anyway noise from nearby places until midnight. Depending on how tired you are It can affect you differently, but the river view is really nice. I took a sunrise picture. These days they are doing street works just on the other side of the hotel, in front of the entrance, but the noise didn't get to the room.

It’s by the river so the location is good, even it’s very noisy in the area, you can have a good sleep in your room closed. They’re kind and there was a young nice lady she can communicate in English, not fluent, but able to. She also picked us up when we went to core spots in the old town as it was scorching hot. However, some improvements is still needed. To have a neat and nice environment, there should be separate smoking area as i can’t stand it whenever i go to the reception. Another plus is if they can install bidet in the toilet and if the staff can communicate in foreign language such as English
