Palais Shéhérazade & Spa

酒店位置很好，設施有點老舊，整體下來還是蠻不錯的！

The building and decorations are breathtaking but the service it leaves much to be desired. We were a group of 7 included 2 couples. Our room was tiny and smelled humid but in the others couple room sheets wasn’t cleaned as they found dried semen on it before get in bed, also towels and robes where not clean. We decided to ate in the restoran inside the hotel but they came really late with our dinner and personally asked for a dish with beef and they send me lamb (it tasted like lamb very strongly and I’m allergic)

This place is totally rundown. The service is poor, The food has a poor quality, The owner himself is rude and unprofessional. Don't go there. They charge 3 times higher for a bottle of beer.  The entire place including rooms needs a major left and repair.

Stayed three nights and was treated like royalty. Breakfast was fantastic and the one dinner we had was great too. Our room was clean and well supplied. Marcus was always available, friendly, and very helpful. His staff was helpful as well.

This hotel was booked by Gate 1 as part of the Moroccan tour. There was a last minute change to this hotel as the other hotel was overbooked. The whole place looked like it needed maintenance. Our room had a bad odor when we walked in and there was no electricity. The hotel does not have its own backup generator. The staircase going up to the third floor was dark and narrow. Overall not impressed by this place.

The Sheherazade is certainly not five star. It is more like a three-star Tomb. With spectacular internal Moroccan ceramic-decorated walls, it is silent and soulless and empty and has no atmosphere. No reception desk to help or provide information or leaflets or make bookings, no bar for talking with other guests, a small chilly unused swimming pool in the courtyard. In our room the water for washing was never hot, only tepid and when we became the only guests in the hotel, the water was stone cold and we were told it would take 20 minutes to warm it up. The Safe in our room had no battery. Twice the television did not work until we asked for help. There was no handbook of instructions about how to operate tv or make phonecalls, or about places to visit in Fez and outside. We wondered if the creased sheets on the bed were new. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Wifi was weak throughout hotel. Staff were scarce but when you could find someone they were friendly and eager to please, but most with only broken English. The Hotel is apparently owned by a local rich male, but it desperately needs updating and needs international knowhow and needs makeover and needs modernisation or it will be soon defeated by other modern hotels nearby. We would not have booked it at all but were misled by a recommendation by an American Travel association.
