Incredible service every step of the way. Mohammed is an absolute legend who helped us out with everything from finding laundry on night one to sorting us out with a guide around Fes. Beautiful place on the outskirts of the Medina with easy access to the roundabout and the Blue Gate. Would 100000% stay here again. Thanks so much for everything to all of the staff at Layla, especially Mohammed!!!!

Room is clean and comfortable. One thing I disappointed is airport transfer service. I booked and paid the fee at the hotel,but taxi driver requires to pay the fee. So I call the hotel staff on the spot,but hotel staff said didn't receive the fee. Because of this, I was made to pay twice.

The Riad is well located inside a quiet part of the Medina, a short walk into the souks. The rooms are large and the breakfast on the rooftop is ample. It is a good value for the money. The only drawback is that some of the rooms are up several flights of very narrow steps. And the breakfast area on the rooftop is five floors up from the main floor. This was not a problem for us, but those with mobility issues would be better off choosing another place. I would stay here again.

My third visit to Fes and where else would I stay but Riad Layla? The location just inside the medina is perfect and the welcome was every bit as warm as on my two previous visits and the team could not have been more helpful - it might not be the fanciest choice in town but it is clean, friendly and perfectly located and I will stay here again next time I come to Fes. I travelled with a friend this time and the royal suite worked very well - although the double bed on the mezzanine is definitely more comfortable than the single in the sitting room! Amazingly generous and filling breakfasts give you the energy you need to spend a day in the medina - and they did a great job of providing tasty gluten-free options for my friend which was much appreciated. Travelling with a friend rather than my husband meant we could do different activities from previous visits. We spent a wonderful morning shopping with Latifa and then cooking a three-course meal in the Riad kitchen and it was lovely to do this just the two of us rather than as part of a larger group at one of the "cooking schools". We also braved the hamman for my first ever time - full scrub with black soap, clay mask and then a wonderful massage took a couple of hours and left us ultra-relaxed and with baby-soft skin - definitely to be recommended. We even did yoga on the roof terrasse with amazing views over the medina - still surprised at how quiet it is with no traffic noise and reinforced my view that Fes is a much better option than Marrakech.

We stayed in five places during our Morocco trip and this Riad was my favorite. Very clean, beautiful decor, and good location. The rooms were also quite spacious. Great view of the city when you visit the terrace, where breakfast is served on a daily basis. Friendly staff.

Stayed for 2 nights in the suite on the ground floor. Very spacious with doors opening out into the courtyard. Two good sized single beds and a seating area as well as a large bathroom area. Very clean just a little dark in the room, could have done with option of brighter lights and as it was on the ground floor near the entrance there was a bit of noise at certain times. The roof terrace area where you can have breakfast is great, lots of space to sit as well as a few sun loungers with spectacular 360 views over the whole old town area of Fes. Just bear in mind there are a lot of stairs to the top! Breakfast was huge with various types of bread and pancakes, jams and scrambled eggs. Staff very happy to help and we were able to leave our bags once checked out. Location is amazing as right on edge of old town area near the top of the two main laneways which run downhill through the souk area to the tanneries. Overall good value in a perfect location close to all the hussle and bustle but far enough away for peace and quiet.

Bellissimo e raffinato un Riad Al centro di festa cinque minuti a piedi dal sud. Le camere sono Molto raffinate e molto ben curate, il patio È stupendo così come la terrazza dove è possibile pranzare o cenare o fare anche la colazione in estate. Pompe di calore presenti nelle stanze, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, abbiamo girato diversi Riad in Marocco e devo dire che questo è stato il più bello

Un leggero iniziale cattivo odore all'entrata e un po di ritardo con la consegna della stanza ci aveva reso dubbiosi, ci siamo poi dovuti ricredere. Camera doppia enorme e molto bella, letti comodissimi (le due notti in cui ho dormito meglio in tutti gli 8 giorni in Marocco), disponibilità del personale. Molto buona e abbondante la colazione, soprattutto se gustata sulla splendida terrazza che guarda la città. Forse dato che la struttura è molto bella meriterebbe una piccola rimodernata, ma comunque la pulizia è stata impeccabile. Abbiamo anche cenato qui una sera e sebbene i prezzi siano un po più alti che in città (ma penso sia un problema comune a tutti i Riad) la cena è stata buonissima. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Останавливались в этом риаде на 2 ночи. Нам очень понравилось. Номер большой, только было очень душно, а мы не включали кондиционер из-за ребенка. Напрягало, конечно, что в туалет нет двери, только шторка. Мне это некомфортно. Все остальное замечательно. Хорошее расположение. Очень заботливый персонал, во всем помогал. Завтрак отличный. Рекомендую

Il personale della struttura è il plus di questo riad, in quanto estremamente gentili e disponibili ad accogliere ogni richiesta. Latifa e Mohamed sono persone solari e gentili. La colazione buona e con prodotti tipici. Sulla struttura per quanto apparentemente molto bella, è fatiscente e abbastanza distante dalle fotografie. L’odore del riad non è piacevole e questo è qualcosa che non si può trascurare e che andrebbe sicuramente corretto. La nostra camera andrebbe rinfrescata e il bagno rifatto completamente, in quanto la doccia durante il nostro soggiorno (Aprile 2023) aveva la manopola che non funzionava (che fortunatamente il giorno seguente hanno sostituito), il muro un buco chiuso con della carta Igienica e il dispenser del sapone molto precario e ballerino. La parete tutta macchiata, il vetro che separa la camera da letto e bagno poco stabile. Sarebbe stato utile anche una tendina per non fare entrare la luce che arrivava proprio sul cuscino. Inoltre aggiungo che fuori al Riad l’ultima sera si sono radunati un gruppo di ragazzi che hanno gridato per oltre 1h 30 minuti, non si pretende che il vetro sia insonorizzato ma che almeno ci sia qualcosa che possa attutire il rumore. Aggiungo che è un peccato perché la struttura ha un grande potenziale ma c’è davvero poca cura in generale.
