Perle House

I have thought long & hard about this review as I believe in being fair to business's... We booked this particular room at this hotel mainly for the bath tub as I suffer with a bad back and it's great to be able to soak it in a bath sometimes. I read lots of reviews before booking & thought it sounded lovely - however we found the reality quite different to some of the reviews - one being  that the location is quiet - I felt like we must have ended up at a different place because our room was one of the noisiest I've ever stayed in - the road it's situated on ( the side our room was ) soo noisy with constant traffic until about 3am... The bathtub was a big letdown as in it seemed to be made from artex type of product and bits had flaked off on the bottom - a normal  type bath would have been soo much better. Also bear in mind there is nowhere private to get changed etc in this particular type of room unless you go into the toilet cubicle which I didn't enjoy having to do. Whilst the breakfast was a nice ok Turkish style breakfast there was no option to have a coffee at breakfast unless you paid extra - you could have Turkish tea ( chai) or water these are the choices included of drinks - now I am by no measure a tight fisted person but having paid what I would call a fair amount of money for 2 nights stay ( nearly £180 ) I would expect a wake up cup of coffee with my breakfast!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Perle House. Arrived late and owners kindly sent us a short video on how to get into the property. The views from our balcony were wonderful over the marina and sea. We enjoyed lots of relaxation, eating and a drink on the balcony each day. The accommodation is a quick 5 minute walk from the centre of Fethiye but in a quiet location. The owners are simply lovely, making us a great breakfast and Turkish tea each morning. On our last day, to celebrate our birthdays they surprised us with coffee and cake on our balcony - this was very thoughtful. If you need more towels, just ask the owners in the cafe, they will be supplied quickly. Supermarket very conveniently located across the street in the marina. The bath in the middle of the room is quirky for us but others may love it.
