Everything about my stay at Bacharéis Charming House was perfect! When I arrived I was greeted by Ines, who was lovely. She made me feel very welcome and helped me get settled in. The rooms are tastefully designed. I felt the care that went into creating the space. The bed was comfortable. All the necessary amenities were there for me to feel at home. The location of the home is located in walking distance to everything. The breakfast was outstanding!! Homemade everything!! I only stayed one night, but wish I had stayed for more. Thank you for taking care of me!

Charming renovated old house, with fantastic breakfast. Tje house has trree flor and didnt have a lift. Staff helpful and very kind, they recommended us what to see in the area. Coffee, tea and cakes available during the day. The entrance to the house is simple by code.

I cannot overstate how wonderful it was to stay at this charming hotel. The staff, in particular, were terrific. They went above and beyond in every conceivable way. The breakfast was gourmet, our small apartment was comfortable and clean, and since we were there for a full week, they even did our laundry for us as needed. One of my suitcases was so heavy that we couldn't carry it up the two flights to our apartment but they took care of that. One staff member even helped with the proof-reading and editing of a narrative I needed to deliver in Portuguese. For those who are not keen on huge hotels, this is a perfect choice.

WOW!! Bachareis Charming House lives up to it's name. Definitely CHARMING. And it definitely exceeded my expectations! Stayed 3 nights in early June just before crowds start to arrive in the town. The beautiful renovation of this building is quite remarkable. My room was comfortable and stylish. The buffet breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and they offered to prepare eggs also. There is a steep staircase, but they helped with my bag. Highly recommend staying in this lovely property with a GREAT VALUE!

Wonderful mix of old and new architecture, great location, clean, quiet, plenty of hot water, receptionist that greeted us on day 1 was fantastic, good breakfast, and a nice reading area. Shower was a bit small and a/c was a bit difficult to use.

We had a great two night stay at Bachareis Charmin House. The room was comfortable, Ines Marie was great at answering all of our questions (of which we had many), and the breakfast was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
