Motel 6-Flagstaff, AZ - East

It was snowing so it was hard to find parking close and keep from tracking stuff in. Would have liked to see more Matt’s to wipe feet but otherwise it was great.

This place is awesome..people are exceptional..it is clean..quiet..helpful..all the good stuff..I will be living here until i find permanent housing...perfect little studio type apt..dont listen to the haters...

For what it was at least it was clean . Would like to say this hotel is in need of some maintenance of cleaning, panting the outside etc. Pretty much in sad shape . Also the mattresses were really worn out . would not stay here again.

People that work here said they couldn’t find my payment for my room after I paid for it online and asked me to pay for it again and charge my card twice. Kept on bugging me for hours after I checked in. Rooms are gross. They don’t clean the floors at all. So bring flip flops. They also don’t clean any of the rooms. They just emptied out the trashes and gave us new towels. There were plenty of flies in the room too. Not worth the price they offered me and I’d pay the extra few bucks to stay literally anywhere else. Sorry not sorry.

Blue, the front desk associate, has some of the worst communication skills I've seen in customer service. He is extremely hostile and quick to raise his voice to yell at customers. He seems mentally unbalanced and is not a good face for the business. I made a reservation online and arrived with a small camper in tow. Blue immediately assured me that it wouldn't be possible for me to park anywhere on the premises, though I'd already paid to stay the night. When I asked "surely you aren't that busy, the parking lot has many open spaces", he raised his voice to yell at me that as a policy they do not accept oversized vehicles and I needed to find somewhere else to stay. I am a young woman traveling alone and grown men yelling at me is scary, so I left the premises to find another hotel to stay at. I called the agency I booked the hotel through to cancel the reservation. Blue reassured them on the phone that he can't do a refund because one guest can only take up 2 parking spaces. My car and camper can detach and take up exactly 2 spaces. This detail would have been helpful to hear initially instead of being yelled at and shooed away so I could resolve the situation. Because I booked another hotel room at Blue's insistence, and then he refused me a refund. I returned to the hotel to clarify with Blue that I would have liked to know the bit about being able to take up 2 parking spots because I could have fixed the problem and stayed there instead of paying for 2 hotels, but he started raising his voice at me, telling me the blatant lie that he "was trying to tell me that, but I wouldn't listen", and continued to scream at me to get off his property. As long as this man is working here, I'd recommend staying far away from this business. I've attached some photos of the open parking in the lot.

We got to the hotel and tried to get into our room with a key that did not work. The hotel manager or employee was extremely rude when I went down stair to ask for a new key. She advised not to give me attitude or she would not provide me a new key which I asked her politely. Just because you hate your job doesn’t mean you need to take it out on the customer. Never staying at this hotel again. Advising anyone else to do the same. I would give this rating a 0, but it wouldn’t allow me to do so!!!!!!

Habitación correcta. Solamente hay una pastilla de jabón pequeña. No hay ni gel ni shampoo. La toalla de ducha demasiado pequeña. La habitación tiene nevera. La máquina de hielos no funciona. La cama ruidosa. Se oye todo el ruido de tráfico ya que la carretera está al lado y no se descansa bien.
