Paulo was an excellent host and the spacious, nicely decorated room was clean, comfortable with many nice touches. The bed was perfectly comfortable and the shower was delightful. Safe, quite and in close proximity to the areas we were visiting.

This is an old apartment in a 19th century building away from the tourist area. Old elevator, cheap old worn out furniture. Towels washed in rags. The water in the shower is barely flowing. There is no sound insulation. You can’t go out onto the tiny balcony because the neighbors have laundry hanging out and it stinks of washing powder. But the room is clean and spacious.

My husband, 2 sons and I stayed at the Opera Boutique B&B for 1 night in April 2024 as part of a 14 night holiday in Italy. We were greeted warmly on arrival and everything was clearly explained to us. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet suite, which was perfect for the 4 of us. The 4-poster bed was very comfortable. Our sons said the sofa bed was equally comfortable. The room was clean and nicely decorated. There was also a complimentary bottle of champagne, free toiletries and essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton buds, razor etc. The location was ideal for us. The area was quiet and it was a pleasant 15 minute walk to the main attractions. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the 2 days we spent in Florence. If we ever go back, we would not hesitate to stay again at the Opera Boutique B&B.

Gorgeous place, well located, a 15-minute walk from the Accademia Gallery and a 20-minute walk from Duomo, with a grocery store nearby. Paolo is an accommodating, warm, and welcoming host. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Well located, nice big rooms with high ceiling and well decorated with many references to (classical) music. Very hospitable owners; we were treated like friends. Good advice about where to eat and to go. Breakfast served in the room was excellent. Recommended.

Francesca was a literal angel who welcomed us with open arms. We booked a room last minute when all trains out of Florence were unexpectedly cancelled and we are so glad that we did! She took such great care of us, was super communicative, let us use her umbrella, suggested a great restaurant, and ordered us a taxi to name just a few! Her hospitality was absolutely above and beyond And the accomodations were just perfect, including a lovely little balcony. We will absolutely return. Grazie mille, Francesca!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Opera, we spent 2 nights in Florence. The room size was generous. Breakfast is very tasty at the Opera Hotel. Paolo, our host, was helpful with tips and was very nice and kind.
