4F Boutique Hotel Florence recensioner

Stayed for 5 nights on a recent visit to Florence. The hotel was the perfect base for exploring this magical city; only a 20 minute walk to the majority of the sights and just across the river from a multitude of excellent bars & restaurants. The hotel itself is amazingly decorated with friendly, helpful staff and the included breakfast is lovely. The rooftop terrace is also a great place to chill out with a glass of wine after a hectic day of sightseeing. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Lovely place to stay and the most comfortable bed ever!! Very good breakfast and great staff easy to walk into the centre. We booked a small room and it was very small but the bed made up for it. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Florence

This was our splurge hotel, for our budget, on our month long trip to Morocco, Italy, and Portugal, and it was well worth it. Huge modern room overlooking the beautiful Arno River, triple sheeted super comfortable king bed, large modern, clean bathroom with lots of hot water (and great water pressure). Great wi-fi connectivity, fantastic breakfast in their beautiful living room/ lounge, elevator (we don’t take this for granted as we’ve stayed in picturesque/rustic old hotels in Italy). Super quiet as it is located amongst the consulate buildings, and a lovely 20 min. walk into “downtown.” I highly recommend, not a single complaint.

4F (4th floor) is a lovely place on the Arno. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, the breakfast room is delightful - also looking onto the river. The hotel is on the next block from the American Consulate (in a calm part of Firenze), there nice restaurants nearby, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. It is also close to Harry's Bar. The staff are great as are the accomodations and I have stayed here on 2 occasions. I can't recommend it enough!

4F is a new stylish boutique hotel overlooking Arno River located just a few steps from the heart of Florence. I visited quite a few times in 2021 and I’ve never looked elsewhere for my stay; 4F is the place! The interiors design is unique, contemporary and fashion; every piece of furniture literally catches your attention and makes the atmosphere of all spaces feel really homely and warm. Service is top-notch: from a huge continental breakfast that can be served in many different ways, to car valeting and events booking which is all done for you by members of staff who are super friendly and professional; they all go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Roof-top in the summer is a big plus and perfect for ‘aperitivo’; beds are extremely comfortable! It is always a great treat to stay at 4F in Florence. A.C.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay here. The stylish decor of the interior looked like something out of Architectural Design. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was well located and we felt very safe. The breakfast was excellent. All the staff were most helpful especially the front desk who arranged restaurant reservations and car service. Very reasonably priced.

Beautiful hotel located in a perfect place to explore the city of Florence. Clean and stylish with specious rooms overlooking the river. We had a perfect stay to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.

I wasn't initially sure about this hotel but very glad I stayed here. It is a small hotel so it does not have many rooms but it is wonderfully decorated and has very nice staff. It does have a boutique hotel feel. Stayed for 3 nights. Room was nice and bed comfortable. Wish it had a few more plugs for charging but only a very minor issue. The bathroom was spacious and sleek. Breakfast was really nice, can sit by opening double doors overlooking the river which was just a nice relaxing way to start the day. You order from a menu and were very patient with me when I asked for changes. They also provide freshly squeezed juices which in really appreciated. As mentioned, the hotel is small so they don't have 24 reception and so need to be aware of that if arriving early or late. The hotel is a bit further out from the tourist main attractions but still all very walkable in about 20 minutes. It is also walkable from train station. It also means no taxis around to flag down if needed but hotel can order one for you. Taxi to train station can be quite costly given the short distance because of traffic. Overall I did really like staying here.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with 4F Boutique Hotel when they abruptly canceled our reservation less than 24 hours before our scheduled stay. This sudden cancellation completely ruined our plans and left us scrambling to find alternative accommodations at the last minute. Making a hotel reservation involves a certain level of trust and reliance on the establishment to honor their commitment. However, they failed miserably in this regard. We had made our reservation well in advance, providing them with all the necessary details and even paying a deposit to secure our room. It is completely unacceptable for a hotel to cancel a reservation with such short notice, leaving their guests stranded and inconvenienced. When we called to inquire, the staff was unapologetic and provided no valid explanation for their sudden decision. It seemed like they did not value our reservation or our time, which is simply unacceptable from a reputable hotel. I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider booking at 4F Boutique Hotel as their last-minute cancellation policy is unreliable and their lack of customer care is simply inexcusable.

Esperienza deludente rispetto al sito internet. Innanzitutto non ci è parso indicato in modo sufficientemente chiaro che l'hotel si trova al quarto piano di un palazzo il cui ingresso non è all'altezza del resto dell hotel e al nostro arrivo è stato deludente. Avrei preferito saperlo prima. Ma la maggiore delusione è stata la terrazza. Sul sito viene chiamata altana e sono presenti foto con piante e arredamento che in realtà sono completamente diversi. Si può dire che avevamo prenotato per quella... su nostra richiesta siamo stati accompagnati, e oltre al fatto che siamo stati fatti passare per una scala sotto cui erano stati posti dei materassi o reti, la situazione reale, piuttosto squallida e decisamente inferiore da quella nelle foto, molto meno glamour; etc., è stata imbarazzante. A meno che non abbiano due terrazze, le immagini sul sito sono inoltre ben diverse da quelle sull account Instagram dello stesso hotel. Il personale mi è parso gentile, ma solo apparentemente, ad esempio a una mia piccola richiesta, ripetuta telefonicamente due volte a due persone diverse mi è stata promessa una risposta che non è mai arrivata... Preferisco sapere con chiarezza cosa trovo in un hotel ed essere libero se soggiornarci o meno.

Bello, bellissimo, stupendamente stupendo Partiamo dal letto dal materasso dai cuscini, due dormite da sogno. La cura dei dettagli dei particolari, la professionalità del personale, la colazione eccezionale, la pulizia dell’intera struttura

Hotel novo em local mais afastado mas com possibilidade de ir e voltar à pé das atrações principais. Em frente ao Rio Arno. Quarto padrão muito confortável, silencioso, roupas de cama e banho alta qualidade. Banheiro com muitos amenites, roupão e pantufa disponível. Não tem TV, para nós não foi problema.Cama muito boa. Café da manhã servido á la carte na mesa. Cesta de pães geleia, suco e alguns itens do cardápio estão incluidos outros cobram à parte. Talvez preferisse eu mesma me servir na mesa com ítens à vontade. Hotel muito elegante, silencioso, perfeito para casais mesmo. Um ponto de melhoria seria o cheiro de esgoto no banheiro, muito forte e desagradável, nem reclamamos pois não seria resolvido a tempo das 4 noites de estadia. Seria um problema a ser resolvido com alguma reforma nas instalações de esgoto creio eu.
