B&B de Biffi

Could not have wanted a better location. Impotantly there was a lift to the first floor. Wonderful owner who was accomodating and most helpful with requests. Breakfast was included and delivered to our spacious and spotless room. The bathroom also was modern and tasteful decor.

My mother and I stayed for a 3-night city trip in April. And we return home with nothing but good memories. First off, the location is ideal. The B&B is located at only one street from the Duomo, only two blocks from the San Lorenzo, and as Florence is not a large city, it takes you less than 15 minutes to reach the Ponte Vecchio. The reception was very friendly, and the host took his time in showing us on a map where the main attractions, as well as good places to eat were. To return to the airport, it was no problem to ask to arrange a taxi. The room (and, indeed, the entire B&B) was very quiet (which is nice after a long day of sightseeing in busy Florence), and the windows can be blinded to make the room perfectly dark at night. Combined with the nice and firm mattresses, we arose every morning well refreshed. The showers had no shortage of warm water, making sure we were ready to tackle each new day. There is airconditioning, but in April we did not need it. But in summer it sure is useful. Breakfast is ordered from the breakfast lady and served in the room (and if you need to have breakfast outside breakfast hours, the host can direct you to the bar next door). Of special note are the Italian pastries such as chocolate-stuffed croissants and torta della nonna. Last but very much not least, the room had an electric kettle, and a mini fridge. Especially nice if you want to buy some perishable food items to take home and store them in your room. So whether you are in Florence for only a few days or a bit longer, do consider De'Biffi as your place to stay!

Staff super unhelpful! Worst hotel ever! They close the check in early and they noticed me the day I was traveling . They didn’t gave me the room and they said the other they couldn’t give it to me because the a/c was broken. No refund at all, I’m pregnant and I have no place to sleep tonight. Terrible never book this place!

Bed and breakfast a due passi dal centro, servizio efficiente e personale molto gentile. Colazione abbondante e pulizia estrema. Unica piccola pecca: nessun segnale in televisione nonostante scansione automatica dei canali.

Consigliatissimo. Vicinissimo alla Cattedrale, Biblioteca, Accademia, Uffizi .Facile da raggiungere sia a piedi o con la macchina dalla stazione . Stanze pulite, spaziose e dotate di tutti i confort , frigo con 2 bottigliette d'acqua , teiera elettrica con le bustine di the e tisane disponibili in camera, cassaforte, tavolo con sedie, climatizzatore e camera bene riscaldata. Ottimo rapporto qualita' - prezzo. Personale cordiale. Colazione in camera abbondante.

Camera veramente spaziosa. Stanza pulita e ben arredata. Personale gentile e cortese. La colazione viene servita in camera, ci si reca personalmente nello spazio dedicato e si sceglie ciò che si vuole. Colazione tipo bar e possono anche preparare alcuni piatti caldi, penso tipo uova, ma noi non li abbiamo chiesti, di sicuro vengono fatti al momento. Questo implica un periodo di attesa un po’ più lungo rispetto ad un servizio buffet, ma noi eravamo in vacanze quindi viva la tranquillità. Unica piccola osservazione, la ns stanza era per 4 persone ma erano presenti solo 3 sedie per sedersi per le colazione! Nulla di che, se avessimo chiesto la sedia in più penso proprio avrebbero provveduto subito, ma per noi nn era un problema. Posizione in pieno centro, fantastica. Non hanno parcheggio privato ma sono convenzionati con uno in zona, vicinissimo al b&b!
