G&G Firenze Suites

Wow ! Excellent accommodation, hotel standard everything from earplugs to slippers provided. Beautiful breakfast and very friendly hosts. Situated in a safe and busy area , walking distance to major attractions. Would definitely recommend to stay here .

My first review in trip advisor after joining for years as I really want to recommend this place. The location is perfect, opposite to the train station with lift, very friendly to those with big suitcases, like us. The room itself is super clean, well equipped with everything, coffee machine and kettle are the bonus. The most important thing is the host, They are so nice and welcoming. We have been communicating with Whatsapp before our arrival date, They helped us to book restaurants, give recommendations, help us to make changes. They are my added value in Florence. One of my best stay in this Europe trip!

We stayed at G&G Firenze Suites during a quick 'bucket list' tour of Italy in March '23. Having had a bad accommodation experience in Rome, G&G Firenze Suites is at the opposite end of the spectrum. Located near Firenze Santa Maria Novella Railway Station, getting to the property is easy. It also makes a half-day train trip to Pisa viable and has easy access to the airport via the T2 tram line (1.5 euros – validate your ticket on the tram or you will be fined!!!). The property has excellent security. As you enter the reception area you can see the property is modern, fitted to a very high standard, and has been tastefully and thoughtfully designed by the owners. Giusi the co-owner is lovely and shared some good local knowledge with us about places to see and do in Florence during our visit. Our suite was at the rear of the property on the third floor, where the high standards continue. The suite has all of the facilities a modern traveler would expect and more. The bed was very comfy and the room had good air-con. We particularly appreciated the coffee machine and USB ports! The bathroom is fantastic with a really good shower. There is even a balcony to sit on and have a beer! Very comfortable indeed! It was difficult to reconcile the peace and quiet of the suite compared to the hustle and bustle of the city outside, and it was a pleasure to come back to tranquillity and luxury and recuperate! Did not partake in the breakfast but it looked very good indeed! Significant points of interest in the city and a good choice of restaurants are nearby. There is a McDonald’s, an excellent patisserie, and a supermarket all within two minute's walk. Florence is a really lovely city. We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at G&G Firenze Suites, it was perfect, and we highly recommend it to you! Thank you Gusi and Giuseppe for our lovely stay!

We were so lucky to have chosen this place. The location is great. You can get on foot to all the sights, and you're just outside the main train station. Gusi and Giuseppe look after the guests in a very easy but attentive way. Following our breakfast chats, Gusi sent me a text message most days with a recommended restaurant or a place to visit. Breakfast was great. You can have it small and simple or big. Whatever is your cup of tea (or a coffee for that matter). Everything was very fresh and tasty. Big, modern rooms were the best part of the experience. Enormous beds, spacious, super clean, everything was new and of a great quality. Little touches like proper hairdryer, small coffee machine on top of your kettle, very good quality toiletries. We have both forgotten our toothbrushes - no worries a little set each was waiting for us! The rooms themselves are sound proof. There was no noise coming from other rooms or common areas. However, the hotel is based on a busy street, so you might need to use the complementary ear plugs against the noise from the outside. We have not found it a problem. Both of us slept really well. Thank you G&G for making out stay so pleasant.

Giuseppe and Giusy (the young couple who run this small and new bed and breakfast) are delightful: their attention to detail shows in all aspects of the operation from the cleanliness of the rooms to the small pots of homemade jam and freshly baked pastries at the breakfast. I chose the location for convenience on a one-night return to Florence -- directly across from the SMN train station -- but much to my surprise, noise was not an issue at all. Nous recommandons vivement cet habitation très bien situé, d’une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons été séduits en particulier par l’accueil de sa propriétaire, agréable et de très bons conseils. Petit déjeuner copieux. Idéal pour notre séjour.
