Hotel Uygar

This isn't a complaint . it's more of an observation. We arrived at night and were shown to our room, although English was very limited but we got by, and the staff were very helpful. We went out to grab a couple of things from the supermarket, I'm glad we brought our travel kettle as there's no kettles in the rooms, the room we had is a bit outdated, furniture wise, we knew we weren't going to a 5* hotel, so we didn't expect too much, we had 1 small built in wardrobe with some hangers, and a safe, we had what looked like a dressing table with no drawers and a computer desk, we didn't have any drawers or anywhere to put clothes, we basically lived out our cases for the week, the cleanliness was about average, the shower head was broken so we had to hold the shower head when going for a shower, the shower had good power to it. The WiFi was ok, considering we were on the 2nd floor, therrs no elevators in the hotel. the location was OK, 5 min walk to the main promenade where all the bars and restaurants and of course the beech, the owners are lovely, we managed to communicate via, Google translate, they took us back to Dalaman airport at a price, this isn't free. I may go back to this place, but maybe a different room and lower level. However, it wouldn't be my first choice, for what we paid, £360, for the week.

It is well located, boutique hotel that you can safely stay 😍 Mouth watering Turkish breakfast is especially tempting. Home made jams, cakes and fresh fruits are all made our mornings tasty. All staff are so welcoming. Thank you for this beautiful accommodation.

Wonderful, friendly hotel run by Zeynep and Nasuh. Zeynep, a retired teacher, taught French previously and this was very useful for some visitors. They were both also willing to rely on Google Translate which was very helpful. They provided many useful tips about places to visit and restaurants to eat in as well as organising a cheap taxi for us too! I booked last minute and was on the top floor (3 floors) which wasn't as bad a walk as I expected! The room was more than adequate for 3 people with a single and double bed and en-suite shower room. The aircon was a lovely addition! Although not spotless, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served downstairs in shaded area and breakfast room. There was plenty of choice, mostly local cuisine which was lovely.

Wonderful small hotel but does need renovation Hotel Uygar is conveniently located close to many restaurants along the Calis beach (a couple of minutes walk away), the staff are extremly kind and friendly. The rooms & the furniture (including the bathrooms) are old and tired and in desperate need of renovation or upgrade. However, it is great value for money with wonderful & friendly staff and located very close to see front & various restaurants, we very much enjoyed our 4 nights stay there.

Zeynep Teacher is an absolute gem, radiating warmth with her friendly and respectful demeanor. Throughout my stay, she made me feel right at home and was incredibly accommodating with the requests I had for my room. The breakfast she served was simply delightful—delicious, fresh, and abundant with a variety of tasty options. The rooms were generally clean, and I especially loved the pleasant fragrance of the linen. While I did notice some minor repairs might be needed, they didn't bother me much because the cleanliness was the top priority for my comfort. Overall, I had a lovely experience during my stay.

It felt like a lovely country small B&B with a very nice terrace, the room was small but good, the staff were very hospitable and nice.
