As I was pulling the blanket off because I brought my own blanket I saw some stains like with blood that is so disgusting. I came from Texas and I thought this place was a good place to stay with my family other then the blanket the bed is comfortable

PASS and go to the Hilton down the street! Tried to check in last night and their computers were down. Finally at 11:15pm-I got a room. Today, who shampoos carpets on a Saturday afternoon? No where to eat you Door dash. This place is horrible! PASS!!

Stayed here recently because of the hotel’s proximity to Kaiser Fontana Hospital. My wife lost her father while we stayed here and this hotel served as a refuge for the grief we felt. We stayed in room 429, floor facing the main street. I am a Hilton Honors member and tend to stay in Hilton properties over Marriott and other brands. I have to say this was one of the best experiences we have had at a hilton property. The thing was…there wasn’t anything necessarily exceptional about the stay, other than a few things. However, these things can make or break a hotel experience. FIRST: the staff were EXCELLENT. Professional. Friendly. Good at their jobs. Special shout out to Shalayla, Krystal, and Stephanie (night front desk person), for being super accommodating, professional, and sincere. My wife and I appreciated this, especially during the difficult time we experienced with our loss. SECOND: rooms were CLEAN and BEDS were comfortable. Not too soft or firm, just right. Pillows were comfy. Wifi signal was strong, even without the upgrade which cost 4.95 per day. I streamed my shows with just the free wifi and it was perfectly fine. THIRD: the window in the room opened a few inches, giving you a bit of fresh air, which is WONDERFUL. Please keep this ability. In a time of covid and airborne viruses, it was nice to know we could get some fresh into the room to clear things out. LASTLY, it was quiet when we needed it to be. Although, I would say if you are very sensitive to noise, do not get an adjoining room. As is the norm for rooms with adjoining rooms, we were able to hear our neighbors a bit in the morning when they got up. They were construction guys, so they were up at dawn and out of the room pretty quickly, but just be aware if you want to sleep. Ask for a room with no door connecting to your neighbors. Other than this, which was nothing honestly, we had a perfect stay. THANK YOU to the staff at the Hilton Garden Inn Fontana. You were kind to your guests, when they needed it most. If you are looking for a safe and clean hotel to rest when you need to, this Hilton location in Fontana is a good bet. - Maya and Jaime, August 2023

Awful. There are too many options in town to settle for the horrible front desk at this place. The hotel is under construction. There is no information about this on the Hilton Mobile app, which is what we are encouraged to use for everything from making reservations, checking in, checking out, chatting, and getting keys. So we use it religiously and booked this place. We arrive get to the room and it’s nothing but drills and saws. I call down and ask and the front desk says construction is 7am-7pm every day. I said there is no way to know this prior to booking on the app. She says it’s on our website. Ok, but we used the app not the website. She says it’s all over the hotel lobby. Ok, but again when would we see the “courtesy signs” unless we went into the hotel before check in? C’mon! I asked if there was another Hilton property we could move to. She said no we don’t do that and they are fully booked so moving rooms isn’t an option. Based on her answers, we booked a different hotel and then she calls me and says “I had to talk to my general manager but we are doing you a favor and moving you to the first floor. It was so generous” Needless to say I asked how is that helpful when you told me there was nothing you could do, so I booked another location that is now nonrefundable. I honestly didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at this point. I asked if I could speak with the General Manager and of course the person wasn’t there. I told the front desk I realize they are not responsible for the app but they are responsible when customers are not notified of construction and it is a Hilton owned source of information. We moved to a Home2Suites and as usual had the best experience with staff and the environment. That will be on a different review. AVOID AVOID AVOID

This is one of the best teams at one of the best hotels available anywhere. Not only is it well maintained and clean, but it has an on-site restaurant that has an excellent chef, servers and menu. The team at the front desk is consistently stellar. Shanite has often gone above and beyond in making my stays 10 out of 10s. I also appreciate the other team members including Roman at the front desk and Sammy in security who are also amazing

Our stay was good for the most part. We stayed in a king whirlpool room which was relaxing after a hard day’s work. We were in town to pack up our aunt’s apartment after her passing. The only issue I had is that the hotel found the need to steam clean the hallway carpet for more than an hour in front of our room when we were trying to nap. When I called the front desk to inquire how much longer it would be, the front desk clerk rudely said “I have no idea” then hung up. Bad customer service.

I stayed here for four days in November. After checking out I realized I left my Apple AirPods in the room. I called the same day and confirmed they were located. I was asked to send a prepaid UPS label which I did the same day. It’s been 3 weeks and I still haven’t received them and the UPS tracking number shows no activity. My contact at the hotel, Ms Davis, has told me she sent them weeks ago but if that’s the case I would have received them or the tracking would show they were sent. I’ve tried unsuccessfully to reach the hotel general manager. As a Hilton gold member I expected better.

My daughter's soccer team stayed here. I made the mistake of not checking in with my app because of a long travel day, so I checked in upon arrival. Check-in took FOREVER and I was asked if I really needed a double. Finally got my keys and when I opened the door to our room, I found it occupied with someone sleeping in the bed. Horrified I returned to the front desk and was moved to a handicapped room that was pretty filthy and the entire 3rd floor smelled of pot smoke (not suprising since it's California). It was the last double in the hotel, so we were stuck there. We were moved the next morning which I was thankful for, but it was pretty inconvenient to have to move. When I asked to be compensated for our trouble and the horrifying experience, I was told, "I'll talk to my manager." So all that to say I'm pretty dissappointed in the experience. That said, the hotel lobby was nice, breakfast was fine, room cleanliness was average (corners were dirty and lamps were dusty). Very friendly staff.
