The Buddy Shack is a newly-renovated lakeside retreat that provides stunning views and all of summer and fall’s pleasures. This seasonal cabin dates from the 1930s but offers all of the amenities you could ask for. It has two-bedrooms, an updated bath, a huge deck, a large dock and an outdoor fire pit. Pets are welcome (maximum 2) for a $95 cleaning fee. A great location that brings you everything upstate New York and the Adirondacks have to offer.The space...The Buddy Shack comfortably sleeps four adults. The main bedroom features a queen bed while the second bedroom has a new twin-over-full bunk bed. The wide open kitchen showcases beautifully-restored exposed beams and peak. It has everything you need to cook and entertain, including a 15.6 cubic-foot. fridge, new microwave, Keurig Duo, four-burner electric range with oven. The sitting room features a bay window with beautiful views of the lake, a cozy couch, a 32-inch TV and an air conditioner. The unique bar nook has a handmade bar, sitting chair and record player/Bluetooth speaker combo. An outdoor shed includes an apartment-size washer/dryer.The outdoor spaces are the star of the show! The large deck overlooks Kayuta Lake offering stunning views of the water and landscape. It features patio seating for four, a standup round bar overlooking the lake and a brand new Weber grill. There is an easy walk down to the dock for access to the water for swimming or boating. Our three cabins are located just inside the Adirondack Park boundary line. Each cabin is 400 square feet with a full kitchen, full bathroom, and 2 queen beds. For summer fun, we are located close to many state lakes, rivers and ponds. In the fall the area is a hunting paradise with thousands of acres of public land locally.
