We booked a 2 bedroom suite and thankfully I double checked my reservation on the app a few days before. It was changed to a room type that would not fit us. How can they justify changing it without notice? I am trying to get them to give me two rooms that can be the same as the 2 bedroom I booked at that price, but they won't honor it. I am still waiting for a manager to call me back and hopefully fix this mess. I do not think i should pay more for this since they had booked me at a certain price and changed it without telling me.

During our recent visit to this area, we encountered an unfortunate incident that left us feeling uneasy about the safety of the location. We had chosen this hotel expecting a pleasant and secure stay, but our car was vandalized within 30 minutes of check-in. Despite being Gold members, we were disappointed by the lack of support from the hotel staff when we reported the incident. It was disheartening to learn that such occurrences are not uncommon at this location. As a family with young children, our primary concern is always safety, and the lack of assistance from the hotel raised doubts about the security measures in place. We felt uneasy about the possibility of the incident being an inside job, especially considering the quick timing of the vandalism. Regrettably, we did not receive a refund for our stay. Management and ownership have been notified about the issue but have declined to install security cameras on the property. This lack of action suggests a concerning disregard for the safety and well-being of the people staying at their establishment. If you prioritize peace of mind and a secure environment, I would not recommend this hotel for your stay.

My husband, son and I stayed at the residence Inn in April for 2 nights during our visit to the Capital. The hotel is in a great and convenient location and the ample parking is a great plus! The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are HUGE and have a small living room space. We loved the kitchenette which is stocked to allow you to prepare a meal if you choose to. There is a full size refrigerator which is a plus! This place is perfect for someone looking for a long stay because it provides the convenience of home away from home. Now the reason why they got a 3 are from me. The reception we received while checking in was absolutely horrible!!!! We walked into an unattended front desk, we patiently waited for a few minutes for someone to check us in and the gentleman who came from the back appeared to be in a hurry and annoyed as though we interrupted him. He did not greet us but rather rudely asked “Can I help you” without making any eye contact while logging into his computer and the only words that he spoke were to ask me my name and to ask for my ID and credit card and that was it! He checked us in and handed back my cards and the key card and started to walk away and I had to ask where the elevator was to get to our room. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I have traveled extensively and I have never encountered such rudeness and poor reception/customer service, ever! I do not plan on ever coming back to this hotel, which is unfortunate because I truly did like it. I liked the location, I liked the ambience which is why I’m giving them 3 stars, but the poor treatment as though they were doing me a favor by letting me stay there guarantees that I will never come back. I choose to spend my money where I’m appreciated.

First of all, the hotel was inviting and very clean. I had to make reservation for my company due to a flood in our home. I thought the our stay would only be for a couple of days however we remained here for over a 2 week stay waiting for the repairs to be completed. During our stay, the front desk courtesy clerks we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. They were great to us and ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay. I would like to give a special shout-out to Miss Barbara who stepped in to assist me when I was having difficulty with placing the reservations on the telephone. She was always very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. All of the staff including the general manager, Miss April, was exceedingly courteous and helpful. Kudos to this location for their high level of professionalism, cleanliness, and willingness to accommodate their guests. I would definitely select this hotel again for lodging!
