Hotel Grazia Alla Scannella

First the negatives..... now that's out of the way the positives. What an amazing place. Our first family holiday abroad and the hotel did not disappoint. The food was outstanding. My experience of half board in other places had been having repetitive food, this was not the case and the quality was superb. In addition the gourmet night was some of the best food I have ever had. The service was fantastic with that staff being so attentive and friendly. We were worried that being a little out of the way that this would be a negative but the shuttle service was prompt and the drivers were very helpful and when at the hotel it was peaceful with views that were breath taking. Can't wait to go back some day.

Staff were amazing as was the food. Hotel views are incredible. Good position for Panza, Sant Angelo, Sorgeto, Poseidon & Forio. We hired a scooter which was a good way to travel the island. Rooms a little tired & no mile for tea or coffee was only gripe.

My wife and I spent two glorious weeks here in July. The view from our room was wonderful, the hotel location is superb and the management and staff made sure we were very well looked after. Particular mentions must go to Mattia, Bandara, Gaetano and Guido for their help and happy demeanour towards us during our stay - thank you. Overall, an excellent holiday which we will look back on fondly.

Me and my wife just spent a week here for our honeymoon. The hotel is stunning. Panoramic veiw of what seems like endless ocean. So much so that you could almost literally at times feel like you were at the edge of the world (even though it isn't flat). Excellent food and drinks selection (wine, beer, cocktails, breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar snacks). The staff are all incredibly efficient, polite, accomodating and prompt. The spa is extensive and the indoor thermal pool is so relaxing. Anyone that stays here will be able to see that it is run by a team of people who care about what they do and that they execute their service flawlessly. A special thank you to Guido, Pasquale, Mattia, Ahmed and the girl with the long, black ponytail (I never caught her name). All of whom (were incredibly patient, having to make cocktails for me at 10:00 AM) remembered us by name after not very long or took a moment to speak to us on a genuine level and smiled every time they greeted us (not just in an obligatory way), making us feel very welcome generally. That isn't to say that the rest of the staff don't deserve huge praise for their service and professionalism!

What a excellent hotel we stayed there for 14 nights service was great the young girl waitress Miriam was very professional also the lad at the bar Guido.The head waiter never got his name sang with the two guitarists on the first Saturday he was very helpful and not to mention galliano the waiter who help my wife sort the gluten free recipe's 10 out of 10 to all who work there.

We had upgraded to sea view and it was definitely worth it. Our room was small in fact patio larger. It was lovely to be able to listen to sea. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Food excellent in fact too much with four course dinner each evening. Spa and swimming pools were lovely. It felt like we had been thrown back in time with service and music in lounge each evening. We would most certainly return.
