Hotel Can Verdera

This is the 2nd time we’ve visited Hotel Can Verdera and I don’t think it will be the last. We had the best time yet again. Such a beautiful hotel, setting and village. A luxurious feel and such a relaxing break, just what we needed. Wonderful food, a gorgeous pool overlooking the mountains. Brilliant places to go and visit nearby. Everyone so helpful and friendly. We left a little piece of our heart in Fornalutx and Hotel Can Verdera. Believe the superlatives you read in the reviews because they are true. The views and the grounds of this amazing little hotel are lush and stunning. As you look at the images, understand they don't do justice to the actual experience. Hotel Can Verdera is a little slice of paradise in the magical village of Fornalutx. Located just a block away from the busy little plaza with tasty tapas and chilled Sangria, or choose from one of Fornalutx premium restaraunts. At Can Verdera there is also a small restaurant, Ritma, serving gourmet dishes four nights a week, in the elevated terrace Our room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed and plenty of room. Several of the rooms have a terrace. The breakfast is delicious and the service is wonderful. Really one of the best experiences we have ever had.

We spent three nights here and can agree with all reviews that it is a heavenly spot in a pretty village. The setting is beautiful, from the lush breakfast courtyard to the picturesque pool area with views of the tramuntana mountains. Our double room was very comfortable and the hotel has a very calm atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the lovely Paulina and Mariana (special mention to Arbus).

This place is a hidden piece of heaven in the beautiful village of Fornalutx, the view is beautiful and the staff makes you feel at home. Breakfast are perfect, and there is always space at the pool or on the terrace. We practice yoga with a really good teacher. We had amazing 5 days there and already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend.

Directed there through Rurual Hotels Mallorca. Henrik was extremely efficient in knowledge and displaying the choice available even at short notice. Quality service! The atmosphere in the Hotel was one of effortless service. As for the bedding - This fluffy bed linen transports sleep to a new level of relaxation. Pool and Gardens - Picture book style. Lots of hideaway places for rest and solitude. The Reception staff 'think with you', comunication a sheer delight. Heartily recommended. John and Doris

We spent a few days here celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. As it was a special occasion, we opted for the penthouse. What a choice, more like a private apartment than a hotel room, absolutely huge with your private rooftop shower/bathroom. The views over the mountains from the terrace were outstanding as witnessed by the number of photographs I took at various times of the day. The private walkway to the pool and other terraces were a nice touch and the breakfasts were perfect in every way. All made the more pleasurable by the polite, attentive staff. A shout out to Miguel especially! All in all, as you might tell, we were impressed. We visited during the fiesta (Sept 23) so Fornalutx was buzzing. This added to the atmosphere in this classic hilltop Mallorcan village but did present some problems booking restaurant meals in the evening. We know the area quite well, having stayed in Soller a number of times. We've walked to Fornalutx from Soller, through Biniaraix on a number of occasions too. Something we'd recommend during cooler weather! To sum up, we'll be back. The peace and quiet experienced at Hotel Can Verdera is amazing, considering its close proximity to the village square. It's paradise, just don't tell everyone, that way it'll be our secret ;)
