Nestled at the western footholds of the Otway Ranges and 'Cooee' from Lake Elizabeth, is a little known town called Forrest (Two 'r's). This town, these days, consists of friendly locals, a brilliantly stocked general store, The Forrest Brewery, The Terminus Hotel, approx 60k of 'Mad!' MTB tracks. And, the best caravan park around to set up camp chill and reflect what this small town has at an abundance, a great feeling. The cleanliness and facilities at the once named Wonky Donkey Caravan Park make it all to easy. I wish I could write a poor review so to keep this place to those that know, as well as my friends and family.

Good location, comfortable bed, kitchen supplies adequate, plenty of hot water, just a very noisy air con/heating machine that you can't run overnight due to shaking the building and loud thuds.

Great spot to stay for chasing waterfalls in the Otways. Away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist rush on the Great Ocean Road

Run down, not enough facilities, only 2 women’s showers in the whole park and one washing machine which the staff use too and close the laundry each day. You have to pay to hire fire pits, sites are small. Camp elsewhere if you can. They don’t seem to check the amenities very often, so if they need attention you have to call a mobile number.

Think twice before booking here! They showed no compassion after we attempted to explain that we needed to cancel for a bereavement reason and let them know as soon as possible to make it easier for them to fill the booking, they simply refused to give us a refund. Heartless!
