Econo Lodge Forrest City I-40

VERY VERY MEAN PEOPLE WORK HERE. They will get the karma they deserve. But it’s literally thanksgiving and my wife and I are moving across the country with no where to stay in the middle of nowhere. My good friend paid for a room for us to sleep for the night since we have 24 hours more of driving to go and need to rest. The reservation was in my name and I had the card on file. It’s perfectly acceptable for someone to pay for someone else’s room. She literally booked it NON-REFUNDABLE online for us. They would not even let me finish my sentences without interrupting me. Needless to say, they would not let us check in and started screaming at me when I started crying and threatened to call the cops because I was crying just wanting to sleep. They would not speak English to us and were extremely rude, mean, and unhelpful. Never have I ever experienced such horrible people in my life. Do not stay here. Literally go anywhere else. I would rate negative 10000000000 stars if I could.

For the price, this place was very good. Newly remodeled and the front desk lady was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. AC was cold. Smell was good. Has Breakfast. Parking easy. Lighting good. Huge parking lot. Easy access. Not noisy.

Musty, old rooms with a multitude of deferred maintenance items. The advertised breakfast was not available, ice machines didn’t exist and the parking lot had crater sized portholes, which should have been our first clue. While the front desk clerk was friendly enough, I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Cheap isn’t always good. The room smelled horrible no matter how much Lysol and air freshener I sprayed itdudnt work sheets blankets were dirty bathroom had bugs I didn’t even finish my stay had to leave

While the room seems clean, I chose this hotel based on the fact that the price included breakfast. I even set my Google map filter to only show hotels that included breakfast. When we checked in we were told no, there is no breakfast. I should have read more reviews. Someone asked if it was pet friendly and the answer given was NO. However, the description explicitly states "pet friendly"
