My wife and I both belong to Fort William but have been away for lot's of years , when we return to visit we always stay in the Premier inn, we were slightly worried by all the negative comments on TA but we could not fault the service or the restaurant and thanks to Ian on reception who went and found us a replacement chair when we discovered the one in the room was broken . Our main problem was nothing to do with the staff but more to do with the design of the building, due to age and health we are not as mobile as we used to be, my wife walks with a stick and I use a mobility scooter, with this in mind we booked a accessable room and the room was very nice with plenty of room facing the hills and a walk in shower but to access it we had to go down a corridor half the length of the building through 5 fire doors and two other doors to access a ramp to bypass a set of steps then we got to our accessable room, fortunately I had my wife with me to open doors but had I been a single person I doubt if I would have been able manage the assault course leading to the room so to anyone with mobility problems I would be doubtful about booking this hotel.
