Ben Nevis Guest House

The hosts Cathy and Steve were very accommodating. My room was extremely clean with some nice added touchs of soaps, teas, and shortbread! Comfortable clean accommodation. Breakfasts freshly cooked with nicely presented fruits and yoghurts. Recommended.

We spent two nights here at this family run Bed and Breakfast. Our group were on an adventure trip to ascend Ben Nevis and then start our Great Glen way adventure. I must say everything was excellent. The location of this Bed and Breakfast was ideally located to Ben Nevis, Fort William and the starting point for the Great Glen Way. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable with a well stocked hospitality tray. Breakfast was superb, with choices to suit everyone. There was even a separate drying room available for drying out our hiking gear. The owners Steve and Cathy were wonderful hosts with great local knowledge which was invaluable to us, but above all provided outstanding service and hospitality. Thank you both for making our stay with you a most memorable one for all the right reasons. Highly Recommended.

What fantastic hosts Steve and Cathy are! Upon arrival, a warm welcome and good information. The room was like new, very clean and practically furnished. The breakfast was excellent with all kinds of options. We visited many B&Bs during four weeks, but this small-scale guesthouse was definitely in the top three (Yes, S & C, there are some top ones elsewhere in Scotland, lucky for us). We are very grateful to Steve and Cathy for the help they offered us when we had car trouble and had to find a garage that had the opportunity to repair our car. They helped us a lot with communicating with the emergency services. We were now traveling through Scotland with a rental car. Our car could then remain in their spacious parking lot for a few days until it was taken for repairs and was then returned there while we were elsewhere for a few more days. What helpfulness! We certainly hope to come back again. Now we were there for two nights, but in the following weeks we had a lot of contact regarding their help to us. No downsides? Yes: Steve dares to place a bet on the Dutch football team winning the 2024 European Championship. I secretly hope that he sees things right. Thanks, thanks, thanks. Martin & Renske Idema, NL.

We recently stayed here for 2 nights. Cathy & Steve were very welcoming and a really lovely couple, they were very helpful with info regarding the area and Restaurant’s nearby, We had breakfast set in a lovely conservatory, breakfast was really good, plenty of choice Would definitely recommend Ben Nevis Guest house as an excellent place to stay. Stayed here last week with my Mum...what a fantastic place! A warm welcome when we arrived and such a beautiful room. We stayed in the family room which was lovely and spacious with a fantastic bathroom...very stylish. The beds were comfy and we both slept well. The breakfast was so tasty...lots of choice and great coffee. Hosts Steve and Cathy are lovely and make you feel so very welcome..thankyou for a great stay and hope to return again nxt year 😊

So clean! We had just finished the WHW and felt guilty going in, but our host was so nice and even did our laundry. It is right on the WHW, just before the end. Bed was super comfortable, breakfast was great and we even got a wonderful to go breakfast the second day as we were leaving early. Picked up our rental car the second day and there was plenty of parking space in the yard.
