This hotel is a great hotel in terms of location, service and facility. Highly recommend it to everyone who is going to FoShan, thanks! I really look forward to visiting it again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel. It is exceptional, the service is truly delightful, and the location is fantastic, as you can find hundreds of restaurants within a five-minute walk. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms have generously sized balconies, which are very pleasant, and the staff are always attentive to all our needs. And the price is very reasonable. I genuinely recommend this hotel.

There is no space for shower and one had to stand (1) one has to stand in the bath tub to take a shower which was dangerous for my aged mother and less mobile brother as bath tub was too small for them to sit, and one also has to raised one’s leg to cross the bath tub. Service was appalling as staffs are mostly argumentative and unwilling to serve. (2) ordered extra water for my room but it was delivered to my mum’s room. both rooms have an adjoining door. as i didnt aee the water i requested i ask the service staff who then answered arent both rooms the same since you are joined? And the staff continues to argue its the same despite i called from my room phone requesting water. (3) when on the way to go to lingnan tiandi, i ask a service staff (joey or zoe) at the bar which way should i walk, its shown in pictures as quaint old houses with many restaurants, she gave me a puzzling stare and annoyed face as if i am bothering her, i asked again and she shrugged her shoulders and said she doesnt know, i have to walk out and find myself. (4) toilet has a stench which permeates the room especially at night (5) bath toilet has a smell which makes it uncomfortable for one to use The service level at Cordis is the worse i have even experience in china with extremely rude, passionless, defensive staffs who finds the clients bothersome. I will not return to this hotel ever despite its given excellent location.

I went there for the second time because of the good experience I had the first time months ago. This time the parking lot was full, it took me 20 minutes to get a parking space, later there was a long line for a bus excursion visitors, they do not have another representative for regular travelers, which was annoying and disappointing. Later they assigned me a family room, far from my expectations, with toys and camping tend in the room. After my complaint, they changed the room far, far away, just in the corner of the hotel with terrible view and not good moon of the employee. The room looks old and smell to humidity as well that you can see some scratches in the wall and furniture. It was dissapointed experience, they do not have a constant level of service, next time I will look for another option in the area.

Comfortable stay and near to Lingnan Tiandi! Room is huge and breakfast was excellent!

The lighting facility is bad and the hotel room space is not well-designed.

Good location. Rooms comfortable and well laid out. Modern decoration and comfortable beds, pillows amenities etc. Problem with the wi-fi either not working or being super slow- impractical to use.

Recently changed brands name from Marco Polo to Cordis. The change seems to have meant there’s been some focus on improving staff training and they were very professional, attentive and helpful. Well located close to Xintiande and a short walk to local shopping malls and food halls. Rooms are modern and suites spacious- std rooms are a little larger and more modern than the CPlaza down the road and better value for money. Some renovations underway on some floors and throughout the hotel, but didn’t notice them from the room at all during the stay. Really practical desk layout is well suited for business travelers who have to work from the hotel, although wifi was rubbish, almost non-existent. When it did work it was really slow and painful so I couldn’t work from the room which was disappointing.

The hotel is located right opposite Foshan temple. Aka Wong Fei Hong Museum. And there are alots of attractive places/ street and food nearby and accessible by walking distance.

The hotel room is clean and comfort. Front desk is renovating but I can’t hear any noise in my room. Will stay again when I come to FOSHAN next time.

Thanks for the good service of Vivian at the reception counter, with the upgrade of our rooms. Nice balcony and great view of the Temple and Lingnan World area. Very convient night walk to the Lingnan World. Washroom prefers toilet separated from basin area. Only pillows are too soft for sleep. Also improvemen is required for signages from hotel to the Lingnan World.
