Perfect location, professional, helpful and happy front of house staff, fantastic tasty food! Estuary view room, comfy, good size, clean with everything you need, great pillows :) No reserved parking, but 2 hours pay for parking in front of Haveners, or long stay car park 5/10 mins away.

Our first stay at Haveners and I have to say what a fantastic place, staff were all very friendly and helped us carry our suitcase to our room. Room 3 was gorgeous with a lovely view of the quay. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were soft. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous location in the heart of things. Parking is up a steep hill. Really comfortable room but the window only opened a short bit so a little warm but the fan helped. Otherwise, really lovely place and great food too.

Stayed 1 night in Havener’s for our wedding anniversary & it was simply perfect from the gorgeous room (room 2) with beautiful view, excellent location, friendly helpful staff to excellent food. Booked a meal in the evening which was amazing in the lovely conservatory overlooking the estuary where we also had breakfast the next day. Drinks & food were not at all expensive (St Austell bars in Newlyn are a lot dearer) which was a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend & will definitely be back.

Absolutely superb. Fantastic location, and the waterfront apartment has everything you need. Although on the quay, it was so quiet. The staff were really helpful, helping us with our cases. I’ve been coming to Fowey for over 20 years and stayed in some lovely places, but this is definitely the best in the terms of location, views and spacious accommodation. The only thing we could have done with was a light above the gate at the bottom of the steps. Already booked for next year!

The location is really lovely and you are right on the waterfront. The chap who greeted us was exceptional. He was friendly, courteous, professional but his interest in ensuring we all enjoyed our stay was genuine. The waitresses at dinner and breakfast were also extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very nice and the selection and standard was high. The rooms were so well equipped and comfortable, they really did have everything you could want. The beds were so comfortable, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The shower was hot, good pressure and the bathroom well appointed. I was so impressed with this little hotel. I will definitely return. It exceeded my expectations and was better than many large and expensive hotels. Well done The Havener!

I arrived on the passenger ferry from Polruan and was so happy that the Haveners was literally right next to the ferry stop; having just walked 12 steep miles along the coast path and not having to walk any further that was the first delightful treat! From then on it felt like home. Lovely welcoming staff, a beautiful room with a gorgeous view and a really nice bathroom. I appreciated the tea and biscuits and enjoyed the comfort of the room before going down to a delicious dinner of fresh crab. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was everything a breakfast can be and an excellent start to my second day of hiking. As a solo visitor I especially appreciated the friendliness of all the staff.

Wow... what a place to stay! An absolute gem of a find in Fowey's crown. From the moment I arrived on my first solo trip (with some trepidation) I was met with a warm welcome. Expectations were then exceeded on each and every level; location, rooms, food, value for money, all fantastic. But what left the greatest impression on me were their people. Lee and his team are just exceptional. From check in with Callum, then Jade, Jess at breakfast, all were so friendly, but I want to give special mention to JLo, who made my stay so lovely. JLo's warm, open, easy going yet professional, nothing is too much trouble manner, and all-round generosity of spirit totally made it for me. Thank you, Haveners, for a truly memorable stay, which I look forward to repeating!
