We stay at this hotel when we go to see family in Durham,on this occasion we were disappointed in the restaurant we always stay for breakfast, cold food fried eggs came out like rubber and were cold so was the bacon,sausage,beans etc when we asked to see the manager she said what do you want me to do, i suggest get a food thermometer no one want cold greasy food.we can't fault the hotel staff friendly and helpful, we won't be using the restaurant again shame it was so good.

My wife & I stayed Easter weekend, 6.30am Easter Monday we were woken by a delivery artic right outside our window, the noise was horrendous & went on for half an hour. This was followed by the bin collection. No point in complaining, the guarantee of a good night's sleep is just a gimmick. I've tried to complain with good reason in the past to no avail. We ate at the restaurant twice, gluten for punishment. The first night we both had steak, totally inedible. The next night I thought we'd try something different. I was served a translucent fried egg which I don't think had been introduced to any heat. The onion rings were burnt to a crisp but they still managed to serve them stone cold, as was the rest of the meal. The Lasagne was tasty & hot but the portion was more fitting for a small child. The girl serving was so stoney faced, she obviously didn't want to be there, this was confirmed when they closed the pub at 9.30pm. I feel sorry for any hotel guests that checked in after this time & fancied a drink.

Beds very comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. Staff very friendly and welcoming, also on hand go help when you need. Great location not too far from Durham city center. Rooms very clean and tidy. Over all very nice stay and reasonably priced

This Premier Inn at Durham North is brilliant . We’ve just had a wonderful 2 night stay . The hotel has a large free car park , quiet location- but next to a retail park for all your last minute forgotten essentials or a bit of retail therapy . A short drive to Beamush too . The Brewers Fayre next door is perfect for breakfast and evening meal and drinks on an evening .The room was great for 2 adults and 2 children and the aircon and window were perfect for temperature and ventilation . Plenty of towels and extra bedding - and spotlessly clean . The Staff were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming - and had excellent Customer Service Skills . Sonya and Naomi weee exceptional on reception. Thank you for a perfect stay - we’ll be back again
