Days Inn by Wyndham Franklin

Of the handful of places that I stayed at on my recent trip to Ohio and back this was by far the nicest and quietest place I stayed. If I had to share anything negative it would be that despite filling out the pre-arrival check-in I was asked for ID and credit card upon arrival. So process to get room keys was not quicker at all.

Check in was an issue with payment not going through. Receptionist was very good and in the end transaction was processed - she was very patient. Nice to have a bath as these are rare these days. Room was clean and tidy. Cleaner came to offer to clean the room but he wasn't required.

Just ok, but wouldn't stay again. These rooms are motel style and very outdated. Our room was non-smoking however I could still smell old cigarette smoke as soon as we opened the door. Old stains throughout, just gave me the yucky vibes. We needed a cot- which they had none left when we got there, so we had to make a bed with what we had for one of the kids to sleep on the floor. Breakfast was less than simple but the kids still grabbed something small. It was ok for a quick night sleep, but I would find an alternative stay next time.
