Our stay in Franschhoek at the Fleur du Soleil Guesthouse was delightful. I highly recommend that you stay here if you visit the Cape Winelands. Our accommodations were exceptional (Le Coucher Suite), the breakfast was extraordinary (I'm still dreaming about the fresh croissants and homemade jams!), and the town and nearby wineries were spectacular! But most of all, I appreciated the attention to every detail by the hotel staff, particularly Anton and Wendy. Everything was expertly arranged, from dinner reservations to 2 days of winery tours, including the Private Wine Experience Day offered by the Guesthouse. I also enjoyed an in-suite spa treatment while my husband rented a bike and rode nearby trails one afternoon. The best part of staying at the Guesthouse was the friendly, welcoming environment. We can't wait to come back!

Fleur Du Soliel is the place to be if you looking for a special night or two away from home. The location is perfect if you want peace and quiet (great place to be ). Thanks to each and everyone that made our favourable and memorable (Stanley, Marilyn,Patricia and I think Wendy lol ) really all gems to the property. Rooms very very clean and neat loved it. Would definitely come back for longer Achmat & Toegfah

There’s honestly too many good things to say about this guesthouse. We had the warmest welcome, thanks to the wonderful 5-woman team! It’s situated in an ideal location with plenty to do just a few minutes walk away. The premises are beautifully maintained and the bed and pillows are something you’ll dream about days after you’ve left. Can highly recommend!

My husband and I had an excellent one night stay here in July 2024. When we arrived, we were both personally greeted by name. The ladies working were both extremely friendly and provided us with recommendations for wineries and restaurants nearby. The room was exceptional, with a comfortable bed and spa bath. We actually had the whole hotel to ourselves! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and very filling. I loved this boutique hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

A cosy guest house just a short walk 5 mins from the town. Stanley and the team can cater for any needs from tours to booking restaurants for you and can offer good tips and advice. You can also easily taxi or get the wine team from here to different places. The room itself was high quality with some personal touches in the room. Our room had a fire place which was really good for the evening, and there is a well stocked mini bar. Water, tea coffee etc is free and other snacks or alcohol can be settled at the end. There is a very reasonable laundry service a huge bag for 300 rand rather than paying per item which can be expensive if you are doing a large wash. There is an outdoor pool and the room has a TV with sports channels too. The breakfast has lots of options and is really well presented, fresh fruit platter is great and also the cooked options are good too you can have both. The staff take great care of you here if you have any issues or questions you can just message Stanley or one of the team and they will reply. Recommended!

Delighful guesthouse well located to Franschhoeks' bar / shops / restaurants yet still in a quite backwater. Its rear courtyard with pool and rooms are ideal for an alfresco breakfast which one orders in advance the evening before - its served fresh and a warm smile. Off road secure parking avaiable though the road outside is quite. Victoria & team are happy to guide & assist to make your stay an unforgettable one. Look out for the large Nelson Mandela painting on entry to the quaint bar and reception area. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a find! The Fleur Du Soleil Guest house is nestled away in the quiet leafy streets set back from the main road in Franschhoek. From the moment we arrived at the guest house, where we were greeted with a chilled glass of bubbly, we were immediately made to feel comfortable, welcome and relaxed. Then we were taken to our suite! AMAZING! Our beautifully decorated room took over the entire first floor of the building and comprised a shower room, bathroom, bedroom, spacious seating area with comfortable sofa and armchairs which led out onto our own balcony. Breakfast was served outside by the pool (although we could have had this in our room if we wished ) where we were presented with freshly prepared and cooked croissants, cooked breakfast, platter of fruits and delicious coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for Stanley and his team who kept the guest house immaculately clean, organised a taxi to take us to/from the inevitable wine tasting venue and always greeted us with genuine pleasure. I would very highly recommend staying here…We will definitely return and for longer next time.

A truly fabulous place, exquisite luxury. Very helpful hosts. A quite beautiful setting. Everything was first rate. The outdoor pool was immaculate and was the setting for a really superb breakfast. We had a marvellous stay and would recommend it unreservedly.

Our stay in Franschhoek was the end of a three week vacation in Africa. We couldn't have been more pleased with our four days at Fleur Du Soleil. We wanted to end our wonderful adventure in Wine Country and rest up before we headed back to the States and that is exactly what we did. We were in the Bougainvillea Suite which had all the amenities we needed, lots of closet space and the king size bed was very comfortable. We loved the breakfasts done exactly to what we wanted, and we couldn't get enough of the croissants. We hadn't made a list of things to do, wineries to visit or what restaurants to dine at. Not to worry! Stanley, the Manager, orchestrated our trip for us. His recommendations were spot on and we appreciated and enjoyed all of his suggestions. We are so glad that we visited the lovely town of Franschhoek and stayed at Fleur du Soleil. It was such pleasure and we highly recommend this Guesthouse.
