I stayed 2 nights in a 6 bed dorm at Glow worm. The location is pretty central in Franz Josef and the service really nice with always available coffee, tea, popcorn and daily soup at 6pm. However the structure is really old and maybe for this reason not the cleanest. The room was really smell and dirty and the bed frame was the loudest ever. All in all I dont think I would come back.

Perfect location for the Mountain View. Love the shared kitchen, plenty of kitchen utensils where you can make literally anything out of the kitchen with the tools. It also serves hot soup after 6pm.

It's a small but well contained place for family. Unique and feels like a place in the great outback. Able to view the mountains from the place

Good environment and services. Warm and comfortable room and the free hot tub. Excellent location. Comprehensive kitchen and helpful staff.

Nice atmosphere and also provided veggies soup but we didn't have it. Having shared hot tub, although it is a bit small.

1  Trip.com有欺騙成份，最初廣告及確認電郵是住三天包三天的早餐，但最後入住的確認電郵卻沒有早餐，這時已來不及取消訂單，另外店主說他沒有將告廣放在Trip.com.   2上舖牀位設有防跌欄，半夜去廁所容易失足

Excelente ubicación. Todo muy organizado y armonioso con vista al glaciar desde la zona común. Ofrecen sopa cada noche y el desayuno por la mañana. Además las habitaciones cuentan con kichinette.

性價比算不錯，一個汽車旅館，有點青旅的感覺，氛圍還不錯。但是房間隔音真的太差了，可以説就是沒有。然後房頂是木頭的，還會嘎吱嘎吱響。。。

A basic room and a small en-suite but I have to say that we had a great stay, it was friendly, welcoming and exceptionally clean. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, add in the laundry room, the fully equipped communal kitchen, the communal sitting area, the outside hot tub and the evening soup dish for anyone who wanted it, who could ask for more. It was amazing.

no need for a hotel or a motel, the glow worm accomodation is the best hostel you will find!! we are a couple in our honeymoon and the private room was perfect for us. the facilities (included a free hot tub) and the morning breakfast and evening soup (with no extra fee was awesome). the crew is the nicest you will find in NZ. super recommended.

The room was of a reasonable size, featuring a double bed and a single bed. Unfortunately, we looked out into the back yard which was unkept and untidy. Although we knew we would have to share bathrooms and a kitchen, sharing only two showers and two toilets with three other rooms was quite awkward. A big drawback for us was the noise level. The rooms are not soundproof, and one can hear all the conversations going on in other parts of the house. Apart from that, Glow Worm Accommodation is not a bad place to stay.

What an amazing hostel! I booked a mixed dorm for myself, my partner, and my cousin who was visiting from the UK. Upon arrival, we had just completed a 5+ hour drive and were extremely tired. The business owner, Benjamin, checked us in, and he did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. We even arrived in time to enjoy some delicious free vegetable soup, which is served every evening. Additionally, there's a complimentary daily breakfast included, which makes this hostel an incredible value for the money. The dorm rooms are well-decorated and clean, and the communal areas and kitchen are also clean and well-equipped. I cannot recommend this hostel enough – it is truly fantastic. Thank you!

I had an excellent experience at Glow Worm Accommodation in Franz Josef! The room was really cute and provided everything we needed. They even provided free vegetable soup for dinner and breakfast in the morning. My friend and I felt very safe throughout the duration of our stay. I will definitely be coming back the next time I pass through town. Thank you!

Our tour of the west coast of Nz was for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. ❤️🍾 Nothing much booked in advance as we just wanted to go and explore.🔭🗺 Well, I can’t even remember where we got better service, great accommodation and Benjamin was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS.💪🏾🍾🥂 Booked at the last minute, this place had everything we wanted and more. Spa, free popcorn and vegetarian GF soup, and friendly guests.🍿The room had a kitchenette and everything you need to relax. But the crowning glory was when we arrived, i explained to Benjamin how we wanted a HeliHike either Franz or Fox, but everywhere was booked for weeks😢😢😢 He was able to get us booked for the next day🚁☀️ The place was fabulous and Benjamin was absolutely the BEST. ❤️😊🥰 Highly recommended xoxoxo
