Checked in and got to the room wanting to watch the national news. Saw the card with stations and remote in front of both tv's in our suite. Turned on tv and it wanted me to log in using one of the profiles apparently left by former guests. Tried that but channels listed on card not existing. Called front desk and they sent someone up. The person said these were new tv's and that ours did NOT have the hotel profile! The person did NOT know how to get the hotel profile onto the tv nor did the person she called at the front desk! She fooled around and told me to use one of the existing guest profiles and then do a lot of steps to finally get some kind of directory. She told me to scroll through the long, long listing of channels until I found what I needed and that I would have to do that every single time! She then left. I found a card from the General Manager Lauren Westgate saying if a problem send her an email or call her. I wrote her an email about the problem. Now late and I missed the news we went to dinner. After dinner I tried to watch the tv but found that NONE of the broadcast networks were on the long list of channels and that the only thing available were a bunch of streaming channels. Apparently this was an account setup by a prior guest to view their streaming channels. I called the front desk but the only thing they could offer was to move us to a different suite that still had one of the hotel's older type tv's. Tired after a long day we had to decline since we didn't want to take the 10-15 minutes to move all our stuff to another suite. I asked the front desk to have the general manager call me and they said they would leave a note. I then tried to call the general manager at the number on the card but it just rang at the front desk so once again I asked them to make sure the general manager contacted me but they said she wouldn't be in until the next day sometime. The next morning the General Manager did return my email saying that her staff had fixed the problem the evening before! NO, NO, NO, they did NOT fix the problem, they thought they had but I still could NOT get the ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX networks along with lots else! I wrote the general manager back and have NOT heard back. The General Manager Lauren Westgate NEVER even bother to give me a call! Have NEVER experienced such poor customer service from a general manager and we stay in hotels about 100+ days every year.
