The Full Moon Inn is a fantastic getaway no matter what you're looking for. Every suite is unique and thoughtfully, beautifully, and creatively arranged. The food is delicious. Our kids loved the goats, chickens, and hot tub. I appreciated the beautiful, quiet nature walks. There are plenty of beautiful places for guests to congregate and visit. We all loved the 1776 Bar at first sight. The live music was great and it’s a place the whole family is welcome. While there is plenty to enjoy on the property - there is also lots of shopping, dining, and entertainment a short drive away in Luckenbach and Fredericksburg. Jenny and Doug are wonderful people who will make you feel like family the moment you arrive. We can’t wait to go back.

5-Star Review: Full Moon Inn Bed and Breakfast We were eagerly anticipating our stay at the Full Moon Inn Bed and Breakfast, but unfortunately, a tragic car accident landed us in the hospital during the time we were scheduled to be there. While we never had the chance to physically experience the beautiful property, what we did experience was something even more profound—the extraordinary kindness and compassion of the people who run it. When we informed them of our situation, their response was filled with so much heart and love that it brought us to tears. They even issued us a refund, which they absolutely didn’t have to do. This act of kindness spoke volumes about their values—they weren’t just thinking about business but about people. Their decision to put people above money showed the depth of their compassion and the kind of loving hearts they have. It’s clear that the Full Moon Inn isn’t just a business; it’s an extension of the God-filled hearts of the people behind it. Their care and understanding during such a difficult time meant more to us than words can express. When our family is better, we will absolutely book again and come see all of them in person! We are deeply grateful for their prayers, thoughtfulness, and generosity. We can’t wait to experience their warmth and hospitality firsthand. This is a truly special place, run by truly special people.

WHY STAY ANYWHERE ELSE? Amazing location, .5 miles from Luckenbach and 10 minutes into Fredericksburg!!! Expansive green views where plants, gardens and farm animals abound! The daily breakfast was delicious! The bed was soooooo comfy, the water was hot and the water pressure amazing! Doug and Jenny are the best hosts! 6 out of 5 STARS for Full Moon Inn!

My son-in-law drove his own car. We drove another car because he had to leave after one night due to work. I verbally told the owner this and she still charged me for him 2 nights. I called and explained again and that the charge should have been one night. She said there was a no refund policy and would not credit me back the $35 that I was overcharged. Not happy that the owner would charge a customer more money that than were due!

We stayed at Full Moon Inn Bed And Breakfast for two nights the week after Christmas. Our room was not very user friendly and was not very clean. The heating and air unit was built into the wall and was so loud it woke us every time it cycled. We turned it off at 2:00am and nearly froze. I informed the host and asked to change rooms but none were available. I asked for a blanket for that night and that evening we returned to our room there was no blanket. The best part of the trip was the breakfast and we were able to park right by our room. We have stayed in Fredericksburg two to three times a year for the past thirty years and would not book another stay here.

I can honestly say that this bed and breakfast is one of the few places that I consider is cozier than my own home. Everything from the breathtaking landscape to the friendliest hosts you'll ever meet. Doug and Jennifer prioritize your experience above all else, making you feel like family right away and being incredibly accommodating to their guests. You will not only be welcomed with a delectable breakfast to begin your day exploring wine country or simply lounging in your incredibly comfortable bed, but you will also have the option to visit their stunning and patriotic bar on the property on the weekends. It would be quite simple to never even need to leave this B&B thanks to all of these features. Along with a stunning chapel, the property also has some historical land markers. Without a doubt, I would go back and suggest. 10 out of 10.
