Harbor Hideaway is a large, handicap friendly, waterfront executive home. Located on the west shore of Holmes Harbor on Whidbey Island, adjacent to the Holmes Harbor Golf community.
3,600 SQ FT, 4 Bedrooms & 5 Bathrooms. Ideal for 8-11 persons. Comfortably sleeps up to 14.
Perfect for a week away with family or a few friends.
Enjoy your own private vacation beach. Dig clams, beach comb, go boating, soak in the hot tub or just be lazy relaxing on the beautiful Harbor Hideaway grounds.
The Master bedroom has a large Jacuzzi tub, fireplace and a private balcony overlooking the harbor. The main floor has an open upscale kitchen, dining, living and green room all walled with windows along with a spacious, handicap friendly bedroom and bath. The ground floor has two large bedrooms each with separate entrances and separate bathrooms perfect for the privacy that may be desired.
The view alone is enough to propel you into your long deserved vacation spirit. And you will enjoy it on the Northwest's most
coveted island, Whidbey.
Whidbey Island is just over an hour from Seattle but holds enough activities and island life to keep you entertained for weeks. Harbor Hideaway is 2 miles from Freeland and just a few miles from Langley and Coupeville where window shopping, art galleries, antique stores and fantastic restaurants will keep you busy for hours. Deception Pass is a must see with breathtaking views of rugged cliffs and the turbulent waters that surround Whidbey Island. Best vacation house in 19 years
Our group enjoyed the beautiful views from inside the home, the deck, the hot tub and the many cozy outdoor spaces. It was just incredible! John, our host, was awesome from beginning to end. We did all our own cooking and the kitchen had every item we wanted and lots of room for moving around. We would love to go back! Worth the price

Exceptional home and property. Beautiful grounds, huge variety of area to enjoy. Home has everythibg you need and more. We used the beach access, fire pit seating, hot tub and walked to the winery.

Vacation in Freeland
The yard is gorgeous, view spectacular, house stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. Host was completely on top of correspondence. The best accommodations my large family has ever had in all our years of vacationing as one unit.

Perfect Stay for 40th Bday Weekend!
The property and location are incredible— pictures really don’t do it justice. The house is spacious and everyone slept comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed and we had everything needed to cook large meals throughout the weekend. It was a bit too windy/wet to have a bonfire (early December), but we loved being able to walk down to the beach and soak in the views of the water. The hot tub is huge and everyone who got in enjoyed themselves.
The owner was friendly and communicative and made the entire process very easy, despite the VRBO app having a weird glitch when I initially booked the stay.
All in all, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely return (hopefully in the summer to take advantage of the longer daylight hours and spend time on the water).
Many thanks to John, the owner—we had an unforgettable weekend!

Wonderful spot for Family get away!
It was a perfect accommodation for our extended family get together. The rooms are spacious and clean. The dining table is plenty big enough for meals and board games. The kitchen is well stocked. We also really enjoyed the outdoor spaces; hot tub, the walk to the beach and, in particular, we found the outdoor fire space very accommodating for a cozy, all age group of marshmellow roasters! We will definitely be back!

Superb vacation rental!
Our supper club group of 8 had a fantastic time at this beautiful, wonderfully spacious and comfortable home, with a view to break your heart. We all found the beds good, the living room truly accommodating and relaxing for our group, and the kitchen well outfitted for preparing meals. The landscaping, with all its charming spots for relaxing and enjoying the view, was a sight to behold and a joy to stroll around. The pictures do not give the full story of this truly special home. I am booking again for our group for next Fall!

Beautiful property and location
We jad such a fun and relaxing stay with my family age range 7-73. Plenty of things to see and do a wonderful view from the home. Well maintained and beautiful grounds.
