Super 8 by Wyndham Freeport

I booked this Super 8 in a great location with a Starbucks and even department stores nearby. I was really unhappy with the room and checked out my reservation a few days early and headed to my next destination early. I was in an anxious hurry with my own business, so I submitted my feedback through the app -- I booked with their app -- Their only response was a full refund of my stay. I keep my rating because the more detailed comments from past guests are accurate.

Cigarette smoke on entire third floor where most of the non-smoking rooms are. Cigarette smoke in the North stairway. The North entrance no longer has a room key security access sensor; a blank outlet plate covered it. (I did not use the South entrance.) The common areas are not clean. The pool was closed (for repairs?). Spare or replacement headboards or dresser toppers were stacked along the third floor hallway. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. I discussed the cigarette smoke smell with the owner/manager, Mr. Patel. He was pleasant to talk with. I came away with the impression that this Super 8 is operated in a relaxed manner.

I am not want to complain, but I stayed here multiple times and this last time my stay was very unpleasant. The rooms were not clean they weren’t sanitary. The mirrors were dirty. They gave you one of each towel for a double room. I had no Kleenex. There was boxes, in the hallways, there was plywood in the stairwell there was plywood leaned up against the wall numbers were taped on the rooms have the rooms the doors it is shut all the way my room smell like mildew and then when it came time for breakfast they were out of everything all they had was juice and then when it came to the staff, you didn’t know if it was staff or someone staying there because they were not in uniform. It just was a very unpleasant stay.

If I could select zero for a rating, I would hit it 1000 times! This is got to be the worst, most disgusting motel I have ever seen in my life! I’ve worked in hospitality for years, and I would never even work at a place this disgusting! The floors are stained, stinky, and just absolutely disgusting! The walls have blood spatter on them, there is blood on the bedding, or what looks to be a blood. It looks as if they have never dusted. The ceiling fan is so corroded! I don’t even know how this place gets any business or is even open looking the way it does! I think the health inspector needs a call come do an inspection! Do not waste your time or money coming here I literally want to vomit!

Hotel is old, dirty, moldy and filthy. Stay away from this place. I had to change room twice. Everything is dirty. Breakfast has nothing to eat. Do not go there. The only good thing about this place is price but you will be better of to spend few more $$ and stay somewhere else.

Door in stair well on 1st floor has broken latch, No way to keep nonpaying persons out of motel. Unseeable from front desk. Persons could enter at any time without knowledge of front desk after hours. Room was not the best. Grout in floor was missing in several places. Toilet looked like it had been slid to the side 1/2". Bath towels were small
