Perfectly fine business hotel well situated in Freiburg about 15 minutes walking from the train station through the old town to the city garden park. Everything was clean and people were nice. This I a very good hotel deserving of recommendation for business and family travelers. It is not a luxury place and the rooms are efficient and clean but do not include amenities like a fridge or a pot for making tea/coffee. There is a nice bar/restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and one can comfortably have a meal or a beer there. I did not have breakfast.

Es war alles sehr gut. Allerdings flackerte eine Lampenbirne in meinem Zimmer. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Der Zustand des Hotels ist gut.

Have travelled and stayed in so many hotels but never had this terrible experience ever in my life. I do not usually write reviews even if its a bad experience, however I had to so that this never happens with someone else. Be wise and clear when you book this hotel, ensure you have your details specified. I stayed at this property between 27th- 29th of June and had raised a concern. I was immediately asked to leave the hotel and book somewhere else if I dint like the property. The staff Catherine was very very rude. Never I have heard any hospitality staff speaking to a customer like this. I was very very Disappointed. Highly Not recommended.

Lets start with the location which is excellent and minutes from the main square.Staff were at all times polite and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and varied,Down side is the room which has no inbuilt air condition and they give a stand alone tower which you either keep on all night or switch off.Not what we could do as it was 28 degrees in the city at night..If you take a 3rd floor premier room they over look the outside bar area which on a Saturday night can stay open till after midnight which i can understand at the weekend but not through the week.Below our window was a floodlit tree and this shone into the room through very badly designed curtains.We had to ask maintenance to get a second curtain as ours had been removed and not replaced.Staff said curtains has been raised as ineffective many times but nothing has been done Bed wasnt all that comfortable either but on the whole a good room but would not return as better hotels with better facilities can probably be found for the same price elsewhere

Unsolicited, we were given a room intended for the disabled, suitable for wheelchairs. The washbasin was positoined very low here and was equipped with a tap with a photoelectric cell that only worked if you put your hand in front of it. The result was that you had to constantly bend over to let the tap run and then "lose" 1 hand to get flowing water at all. When we reported this, we received the uninterested response that the rooms for the disabled are simply rented out to non-disabled customers as standard. Price quality ratio not oké

Ideal hotel for our short visit to Freiburg. A 5 minute walk from the town square, but in a super quiet corner. You get what you pay for, the staff are friendly, the rooms modern and clean. I left my favorite shirt in the cupboard, one email and the shirt was sent by post, thank you Nino.

Ein sehr gutes Hotel, das in mehrfacher Hinsicht für den Besuch der Stadt geeignet ist: Das Haus liegt nur wenige Fussminuten von der absoluten Mitte der Altstadt entfernt, ist aber recht ruhig gelegen. Eine öffentliche Tiefgarage („Zähringer Tor“) um die Ecke (12€/24). Modernes Design, sehr ansprechend gestaltete Zimmer, kleines aber elegantes Bad, Betten top, diverse Kissen, Matratze sicher für jeden passend. Zimmer zur Straße nachts still. Das Frühstück ist im oberen Preissegment, aber das Geld auf jeden Fall wert - große Auswahl an kalten und warmen Speisen, riesige Obstpalette, sehr guter Kaffee im Automaten, nichts fehlt, selbst Sekt (wer es um 8 braucht…) Nur eine Nacht, aber auch für mehrere Tage prima. Und nicht zu vergessen: Sehr freundliche junge Mitarbeitende.

So gerne wie ich nach Freiburg reise, so gerne übernachte ich im Hotel am Stadtgarten. Wegen: des modernen, dennoch gemütlichen Designs, des unvergleichlich üppigen Frühstückbüffets, der Terrasse zum Tee oder Aperitiv und…des fein duftenden Duschgels! Offene Wünsche? die passende Bodylotion!

L'hotel è composto di 2 corpi, forse il design/boutique è solo il più recente ma non sai in quale capiti quando prenoti, anche perchè hanno in comune reception e sala colazione. Camera piccola, basica, senza aria condizionata nè amenities (né bollitore, nè macchina caffè), niente frigobar. Prenotato il garage di cui non abbiamo potuto usufruire, per cui abbiamo parcheggiato nel garage privato là vicino (piu economico, ma con orari). Il centro è raggiungibile in 10 minuti a piedi, la colazione è sicuramente il loro punto di forza.
