Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko recensioner

Extremely friendly owner and staff. My car battery died because I left the lights on without knowing it. The owner and staff helped me to start the car. Also Guyaume made great suggestions that was valuable to my trip. Everything is nice, well maintained just as commented by everyone else. Hands down best place ever visited. Top tier hostel worldwide. Oh and if you want to go to that signature Lawson for photo, stay here. It’s close enough to walk drive bike before sunrise so you get pink Fuji.

I was able to check in an hour early when i arrived here. The vibe of the hostel front is awesome - they have this relaxed bar/restaurant/couched seating area, where outside patrons and hostel guests alike can commune. I stayed in a mixed dormitory, and again that was great. Slept really well, felt safe, luggage was secure. Great location, too - not hard to get from the station if you have a lot of luggage.

Hip place for travelers, the curry at the bar is so unique and delicious

The coziest and most stylish place I've stayed at in Japan. It has a great location, and you can easily get here on foot. The people and service are amazing. And the curry! Oh my — they make the most delicious curry in Japan!

Fuss free check in and check out process. Friendly staff. One downside is that the rooms and shower are on different levels and only accessible by stairs.

This place is very clean. It has spacious bedding and garden is beautiful. Not inside the facility but just right outside nearby you have a good view of fuji.

Nice stay in Kawaguchiko with a very warm and cosy common space.

The staff was so nice and the vibe was so good too. I stayed for one night in the Dormitory Room, my bed was a little bit hot maybe the air conditioning was not enough for summer but there was a little fan sitting in the corner. Cleanliness was perfect, toilet, bedroom and cafe.

One of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The bed space was so big and you only share a room with 3 other girls who were all super friendly so it was lovely! Everything was clean and chic, staff were super friendly and helpful. It is a really beautiful place to stay. Great location too, only a 10min walk from Kawaguchiko station and a 15min walk to the lake.
