Easy check-in process with helpful hotel staff. Very clean and spacious connecting rooms. Close to shopping area and metro and bus services.

Went there with colleagues during Chinese new year holiday. The hotel is good value for money, location was convenient and very big in size.

This is my first time to Fukuoka, when we planned our stay, we have a budget in mind but also looking for some space given our age (over sixty) and size. The New Otani is a pleasure surprise for us. We had a standard room with 2 beds and it comes with a writing desk and a sofa where we can sit back and relax after a day touring around the city. Service was good, the only shortfall is with communication. I will give them a perfect 5 if their staff can speak more fluent English.

Had multiple bookings for my family in this hotel. Really glad that they accommodated all of our needs. Location is great. Just a few steps away from Watanabe Train Station, bus station and a Family Mart. Location is also walkable to Hakata and Tenjin Stations. Lots of supermarkets nearby and a fish market is at the back area of the hotel. Rooms are relatively clean. Just some dust on the door frames and ceiling. They’re also pretty big in size but have slightly outdated furniture and a bit dim. Beds are comfy and comfortable. Will recommend this hotel if on a budget.

A traditional hotel. Just walk for 2 mins from the nearby railway station.

This hotel is very clean and the staff are very kind. We enjoyed wonderful trip.

Really nice hotel with a bit of an older comfortable vibe. Staff is helpful and nice but may not speak a great English. Location is close to a metro station, neighborhood has a good selection of restaurants and Shopping district of Tenjin is at a walking distance. Taxi to Airport cost us only 2200 yen.

Good location and convenient place for food and moving around town

It is a relatively old hotel but with a long history behind the brand! Hotel is big with own shopping mall & good restaurant choices inside the hotel! Services is very good! Very few hotels now still have door key kept in the front desk for guests to pick up.

The hotel is conveniently located a minute’s walk away from Watanabe Dori subway station. There is a Familymart convenience store and supermarket adjacent to the hotel. There are a couple of nearby cafes (ie. Kamakiri coffee and REC coffee) for those who need their daily caffeine. Despite being an older hotel, room in Hotel New Otani Hakata was clean, comfortable with sufficient space for 2 persons. Unless you are seeking a five-star hotel with full amenities, this offers value for money in a great location.

Food is good and service better.
