Hotel Do Centro

I stayed in this place a year ago and what a dirrence! The personnel is really rude. Cleaning is not done properly! The breakfast lady has long hair and they are just in the food too.. she is late and coughing to the food.. not nice at all. Will not go again!

Não tem tomadas para carregar os telefones. Tem apenas uma na casa de banho e outra onde está ligado o frigorífico. O pequeno almoço é mau. Provavemente dos piores que já vi. Este comentário não é esquisitice, é mesmo mau. Podia falar da falta de oferta ou de qualidade dos produtos, mas não é só isso. Há falta de limpeza, quando comecei a pegar na loiça senti nojo. A loiça estava toda suja e molhada. Estava uma empregada a lavar a loiça à mão quase ao lado dos clientes e a dar-lhes a loiça ainda toda molhada pois não há que chegue para os clientes. Quanto à falta de qualidade, até o pão é mesmo mau, algo tão simples que não se percebe. Da variedade nem falo, tem o minimo dos minimos de um pequeno almoço português (de internacional não tem nada). O ar condicionado do quarto não funcionava bem. Quanto à cama, o colchão estava muito velho e é possível ver uma foto do colchão em anexo, fala por si. O quarto não tinha chaleira. A luz da casa de banho funcionava mal. Nota-se uma falta de interesse do hotel em evoluir e melhorar pequenas coisas que não requerem grande investimento e que iriam melhorar bastante a qualidade da estadia dos clientes. A localização é ótima, mesmo no centro e ao lado de um supermercado. Funcionários simpáticos. ---- There are no outlets to charge phones. There is only one in the bathroom and another where the refrigerator is plugged in. The breakfast is bad. Probably one of the worst I've ever seen. This comment is not picky, it is genuinely bad. I could talk about the lack of options or the quality of the products, but it's not just that. There is a lack of cleanliness; when I started picking up the dishes, I felt disgusted. The dishes were all dirty and wet. There was an employee washing the dishes by hand almost right next to the customers and giving them the dishes still all wet because there weren't enough for the customers. As for the lack of quality, even the bread is really bad, something so simple that it's hard to understand. I won't even mention the variety; it has the bare minimum for a Portuguese breakfast (nothing international at all). The air conditioning in the room didn't work well. As for the bed, the mattress was very old, and you can see a picture of the mattress attached, which speaks for itself. The room didn't have a kettle. The bathroom light was malfunctioning. There is a noticeable lack of interest from the hotel in evolving and improving small things that do not require significant investment and that would greatly improve the quality of the guests' stay. The location is great, right in the center and next to a supermarket. Friendly staff.

Stayed in the fifth floor. Balcony was a joke so do not worth paying extra money. Cleaning was not working at all. I got some broken class to my toe in the first nite from moving the bed.. reception was good and the young lady at the breakfast. They were helpful

I would give full points had there been a more varied breakfast, but other than that, the hotel is absolutely fine. Great location, good friendly staff, and a perfectly functioning shower :) There is a little fridge in the room but no coffee or tea making tools, so you might want to take your own. Breakfast is 98% the same every single morning. Different bread, one type of cheese and ham, marmalades, cereals, apples, and pears. All in all, a great accommodation nevertheless!

Então é assim, o ar condicionado só faz barulho, não faz frio, o sinal de wi-fi, quando há, é intermitente, como a televisão recebe o sinal via wi-fi, tv também é para esquecer. Por falar em esquecimentos, caiu no esquecimento o pedido na recepção de uma ficha tripla, porque tv, frigorífico e candeiro de pé, estes 3 equipamentos estavam para uma tomada (ver foto). Portanto, tinhamos de escolher, ou frigorífico, ou televisão (sem sinal), ou candeeiro, um must. A localização do hotel é boa, quanto à limpeza, nada a dizer e o pequeno almoço, que sendo fraco, não comprometeu. Resumindo, reservou-se o alojamento com determinados pressupostos para umas noites de descanso e tal não aconteceu naquilo que era essencial, dormir. Com o calor houve dificuldade em adormecer e acordou-se a meio da noite, igualmente com calor ... esta reserva não cumpriu a sua função.

Não podia abrir a cortina porque a vista era simplesmente uma árvore enorme mesmo em frente :-) ou seja não tinha vista :-) O Hotel já não é nada recente mas no geral deu para dormir e tomar o pequeno almoço. O pequeno almoço não tem variedade mas no geral satisfaz. O hotel está muito bem situado, dá para ir a pé a todo o lado.
