Borgo Casa al Vento

I am from Georgia, USA, and i got married at Borgo Casa al Vento in September 2024. This place is magical!! The moment i booked this borgo for my wedding, they started helping me plan the special day, recommending local vendors whom they know and trust, and allowing me to meet with several people and select the perfect vendors for the wedding. I was worried about trying to plan a destination wedding that was so far away, but the staff were incredibly helpful and made the process so smooth, making me feel like it was just as special to them as it was to me, also working seamlessly with my wedding planner who was coming with me from the states. Once the time came for our 53 guests to travel to the borgo, we were greeted by a gorgeous venue with breathtaking views and the friendliest and most accommodating staff, with several of our guests gushing over how kind everyone was. They ensured that the wedding, rehearsal dinner, departure, and everything in between during our 3-day stay was PERFECT. We had no issues at all! Our guests loved their rooms, the food, and especially the staff. The staff even went as far as bubble wrapping multiple bottles of wine for our guests to take home in their checked luggage on the final day. I cannot speak highly enough of this place or the people working here. Thank you, Borgo Casa Al Vento and Francesco, for helping me have the wedding of my dreams!

A beautiful, friendly, classic borgo in the heart of the Chianti region surrounded by stunning views of vineyards. We found all the staff extremely helpful and kind. We loved the restaurant’s authentic, delicious Tuscan food, especially of course the pappardelle al cinghiale with Casa al Vento’s own wine. Our room was comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed the huge pool which has an amazing scenic backdrop. The local town, Gaiole (10 minute drive/1 hour walk) is very sweet and pretty as well as important for Chianti Classico wine. Siena was easy to get to for a day trip or shorter trip, and Florence also perfect for a day trip. Also, the best way to book is by sending them an email via the website!

Everything about this beautiful winery and hotel is spectacular. The owner, the staff, the food, the wine and the views are all exceptional! It’s comfortable and relaxing. We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back one day soon.

What a stunning place in Chianti! I needed a good rest and some time in nature and this place delivered just that. It was pure serenity in-between the vineyards, a personal tub right in front of my cottage and good food and wine for dinner. I really enjoyed the wine tasting and the tour along the fields. I bought a new drone and was flying it around the property, which made for some good images! I stayed for one night, but two would have been better. It was the small things that made the experience great. They filled the tub right when I arrived so I could jump into a warm hot tub, the owner came out of the villa to say a warm welcome, I could join the wine tasting tour signing up only one day upfront. The spa looked really nice as well, you can take a wine and goat’s milk bath and massages. Can really recommend this place for families and couples who want a few days in the beautiful Chianti area, or if you’re planning a Tuscan wedding.

Very nice Agriturismo with winery on the top of the Gaiole in Chianti hills. We booked last minute a room as we decided to join some friends for a friend in the region. Our room was completely renovated and had a great shower. Did some wine tasting as well. Seems to have extensive wellness/spa services on top of great views. Next time will definitely have dinner at the restaurant!

The Winery was beautiful and the people were kind and accommodating during our stay. I would just warn everyone that having wine shipped to your home from this winery is risky. We had two expensive magnums mailed to us after our trip and they had both gone bad. We stored them properly but they must have been bad at the winery. We were told there would be no compensation because it is a risk that the buyer takes. It was an expensive risk for us that we were not prepared to take or would have taken if we had been warned.
