這家位置比較偏僻，需要坐突突車上山，不過總體也不遠。酒店衞生、服務總體還不錯，餐食一般，但是booking上9.9的評分還是過高了些，9分左右吧。比較好的是床比較硬，適合腰椎間盤突出不適的人。

The Sun House is located on Upper Dickson road, up the hill, in Galle, approx 500 Rupies (1.5 USD) Tuk-Tuk fare away from the Dutch Fort. We stayed two nights at this lovely property, settled in a beautiful colonial house tastefully restored. Nice room, stunning common areas, nice patio and garden, wonderful staff, great food, great service. We also spent some time relaxing at the pool and enjoyed spotting birds and monkeys in the luscious garden under fragrant frangipani trees.

What a lovely boutique hotel! The setting is gorgeous, on a hill with ocean view. The house is recently restored and remodeled and it’s beautiful. Our suite was very roomy, the bed was very nice and airconditioning very welcome on hot days. We really enjoyed the tranquility of the place, while it’s only a short walk (or tuktuk ride) to the hustle and bustle of Fort Galle. And lastly, the people were amazing and the food was beautiful. Very sumptuous breakfast and we dinner in the restaurant was very very good as well. Cannot recommend enough!

We had two fabulous nights in this gem of a hotel, set up a hill above bustling Galle. It is the most delightful place to stay - small, intimate, comfortable, beautifully decorated, delicious food, wonderful welcoming staff and gorgeous gardens teeming with wildlife! Gayan and his team looked after us so well and we will definitely be back. Don't hesitate to book this unique oasis of calm - I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

A truly magical place. We stayed in the Dumas suite, which was huge, with an amazing balcony and bathtub. But the best part of the hotel is the gardens and swimming pool area. Even though you are a stones throw from the fort you feel as if you are in an oasis. The food was terrific as well. Not a bad word to say about this place.

A picturesque 9 bedroom colonial mansion on the hill overlooking the Galle Fort - well decorated but in need of freshening up The en-suite Terrace Room…..the Terrace was a concrete path giving onto a patch of lawn, the Room was cramped and the lack of a door to the en-suite toilet was disconcerting. Food was average, service haphazard. Like in so much of Sri Lanka the staff were charming but too much time was spent asking whether you are having a good time and not enough on ensuring that you are.

If you would like to stay somewhere with a bit of personality and history then this is for you. A lovely former merchants home with unique rooms in keeping with the history of the building. The hotel is part way up a hill, very close to Galle town but also just far enough away to be very peaceful. Galle Fort is within a reasonable walking distance and you'll pass the international cricket ground on the way if you're a cricket fan. There are only 8 rooms in this hotel so everything is very personal and there are some nice shared areas, think 'living room' rather than 'lobby'! There is also a nice pool area at the back with sunlounges available. Although the venue is lovely the staff really make the place special. Everyone is so nice and couldn't be more helpful. We were let down by a tour operator that we had pre-booked and within half an hour the team had made alternative arrangements for us and the driver was at the entrance to pick us up, amazing service and we had an excellent day at one of the National parks. If you want an out of the box chain hotel then look elsewhere, otherwise this is a great options for your Galle stay.

An oasis of calm in the busy city of Galle. Beautiful accommodation and setting. We loved the recently refurbished dining room and lounge with its eclectic mix of art and furniture. All staff were so welcoming and the restaurant good . A perfect base to explore the city. Thank you. Kate and John

We spent five wonderful nights here in the Dumas Suite. a 5 star experience all the way. The Dumas suite is perfect, quiet and away from the main area. You look out onto tree tops immediately outside the window where monkeys play and beautiful birds sing all day. A great restaurant serving a large and healthy breakfast is the topper. We could have stayed for weeks
