ShriGo Hotel Gangtok recensioner

Purnima is very helpful and good. All service is nice.The view of greenery is very elegant. Toilets are clean,the staff is very nice and full of houses and greenery ,there is smell but so clean.There are many nearby activities like the MG market and Enchey Monastery etc and many more.

Very poor unmaintained hotel. Bedcover torn , room lock not proper, bathroom doors didn’t close , wadrobe handles broken, water logging in basin. The behaviour of staff was good but lack of proper management so they seemed lost at times.Security gaurd does most of the stuff plumbing, carpentry etc. House keeping staff seems to minimum.The security gaurd told he will also leave soon. Due to lack of staff , the hotel is un maintained. We had 3 rooms, the once with the higher price facing mountain. Looks like there is some construction blocking the view. We changed room once but there were some issues with the new room as well. We spoke to the senior manager probably General Manager ad asked him to focus on maintenance and quality. He seemed listening. Also the break fast buffer starts at 7:30 and we had to leave at 7. So we informed in advance and we were told by manager and chef they will be able to give sandwiches or bread toast only to which we agreed. When we were leaving they only haves gave bananas and boiled eggs which was of no use to us. The front office manager knew it was wrong but he didn’t have any answers. There are many other better options at this price , better to avoid so that you don’t face disappointment. Was a bit surprised with the high rating in Trip advisor due which booked this hotel. The only explanation could be it was better before and had become poor with time due to lack of staff.

This was a awesome experience, nive views, highly successful staff , i recommend to the fullest, the stay at gangtok was very pleasent full. I recommend to the fullest. The room was spacious, and highly recommended for the family trip too. Good going

Breakfast is good Family suite is highly recommended Otherwise rooms are decent/OK Clean, new construction Helpful staff (Sneha, Nikita, Yanki & Radal, and Chefs Vishwadeep Ashish & Devas) Were good Couldn't explore any other facilities/amenities Overall hotel rating 9/10

Overall awesome experience, staff was extremely kind and helpful. Food was also great. Breathtaking view from balcony and reception area. Extremely cozy and comfortable bed with hot water availability 24/7. Situated in Tathangchen which is nearby MG Marg

I had a very nice experience here in Shrigo, Behaviour of staff was very nice, food here was extraordinary, breathtaking scenery can be seen from the terrace and balcony, overall service was good and bed was soft, comfortable and cozy, was relaxed while taking hot water shower here.

Wonderful stay at shrigohotel Gangtok .. ambiance is awesome with best hospitality...Staff were discipline and Frank .. rooms are neat and clean,excellent food, rooftop view is awesome... Especially The GM of hotel Mr debajit Modak and Om Mr Sanjit Roy their behaviour is excellent and corporative..Staff Miss Purnima is Frank and helpful. All over everything is excellent and beautiful....

Overall, very courteous and caring staff. The room sizes are good. Nice surrounding views of Mountains. Excellent seatout place to enjoy the nature. Many room accessories, such as, hair dryer, room heaters were available on demand. There were limited items for breakfast and dinner. But, it was still enjoyable.

Nice Ambiance, good food, good services, very polite staff, near to main marketplace. We had very good experience staying there. Specially liked the staff and services. Food is also not very expensive.

We visited Gangtok for our Anniversary week and stayed at Shrigo Hotels, Gangtok. It turned out to be a wonderful decision for its location and scenic views as well as for its friendly staff and good food. We stayed for five days and never felt any discomfort either with planning our outdoor schedule or with staying at the hotel. Our room was a deluxe room with mountain View and included all basic amenities that was shown during booking. It was slightly cold on our arrival but a room heater was arranged on our request. Room cleaning was done everyday while we went out and cleanliness was duly maintained in the entire property. We faced slight issues with wifi network in the room although it was manageable. The hotel staff including Operations Manager Sh. Roy, Mr. Aftab, Room Service Staff Mr. Sujan were very helpful. Mr. Roy made a wonderful arrangement for candle light dinner on our anniversary night and made it a memorable experience. Food cooked by restaurant staff especially Chef Prabin was wonderful and helped us enjoy our trip even more. Shrigo, Gangtok is a delight and we definitely recommend this property for an enjoyable stay at Gangtok. Shashank & Shikha

Room was nice and Mr Bharat n Sinha looked after us well - only can’t complain for small room as taken that only but except that all were perfect - from hot water , cleanliness , breakfast , etc - only Mg is 10 mins walk if that’s okay and taxi u get share for Rs 30 per person or full for Rs 200 from Mg road - nearby many places to visit also so good if u plan accordingly

It's very nice to stay at shrigohotel gangtok...superb hospitality and beautiful ambiance..room are clean. Delicious food with well mannered staff... I had a conversation with Miss Purnima she is very decipline and talkative.. thanks to Shyamal, Sagar and Purnima they are helpfull and sweet.... Awesome rooftop view and I really enjoyed the view and food with awesome hospitality....I must recommend this hotel to visit once at gangtok....

Very good hotel with modern amenities. Nice valley view from Terrace at hotel reception. Only issue is they don't have fan in rooms which is issue in hot June weather. Food is good but have limited options. Nice staff. Location slightly away from MG road.
