We stayed for a week in January. This is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location right by the sea facing the rocks and swimming pools. The rooms are set around an internal courtyard on 2 levels. The rooms on the ground floor do not have a window to the outside only to the courtyard and those nearer to the cafeteria are a bit dark I think. Room 4 is right by the breakfast area. This may be reflected in the price I don't know. Upstairs the toom are other along the street side of the hotel and have windows facing there. Others are on the gallery facing the courtyard and are light and airy. Undoubtedly the best rooms are rooms 10 and 11 which also have windows facing towards the see and are a little larger. They are slightly more expensive. The rooms are traditional in style and very clean and comfortable. However there are a couple of things which could be improved. As others have said, there is tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms plus fridge, but no tea/coffee is supplied! If you don't want to buy local then bring your own! However here was a fruit basket and small bottles of champagne on arrival which was a nice touch. The other thing was. I've never stayed in a hotel where the cleaner removes all your items from where you have placed them to your satisfaction in the bathroom and puts them up on a high shelf every day. Every day we put them back and every day they were moved again!! Cleaning staff should not be moving guests personal items around. At least put them back where they were!! A few other items were moved about as well. Also the external window to the gallery was left open every day, presumable to 'air' the room. However this somewhat defeats the object of having a key!!! There is a safe in the room but still. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable with a continental choice, pastries and a small choice of cooked items, eggs etc. If you're looking for massive breakfast buffet as in multinational hotels then you'll be disappointed but I thought it was fine. There are lovely terraces where you can sit and relax whilst watching the sea or sit in the relaxing courtyard. Also a cosy residents lounge where you might need to sit as wifi connection is a bit flaky in the rooms (or it was in ours.) Sonja the host is extremely welcoming and friendly and speaks good English and also German. She is very helpful with everything and can book tours/taxis etc etc. All in all a very pleasant stay
