從多洛米蒂開車過來，到達的時候已經晚上8點多了，因為週末酒店全住滿了，check in的時候發現前台操作很不專業，訂的是三人房加擁有景觀的頂層雙人房，結果三間房間全部給標間，和酒店的圖片完全不符，溝通了非常久最後才勉強給了原本屬於我們的房間，等折騰完的時候餐廳也沒東西吃了，還得開出酒店吃披薩。 酒店的環境設施很一流，也標註四星，但房間和內部裝修很普通，可能年代久遠了，開電瓶車的意大利小哥很可愛，一路邊哼歌邊開車帶我們去看各種房型，也很吐槽前台的不專業。

Vi var mycket besvikna på detta hotell, jag läste recensionerna innan bokningen så vi var medvetna om avståndet från Garda stad och det är det på en kulle, men standarden på vårt rum var långt under den som visas på hotellets webbplats. Vi fick inte ett fint inrett ljust rum, utan ett väldigt snurrigt intetsägande beige rum, med skavda väggar, döda insekter i altandörrarnas löpare och spindelväv ovanför dörren. Frukosten var 3/10, om du inte åt frukost när den först startade varje morgon fylldes ingenting på och därför fanns det inte mycket kvar vid 8.30, och det som fanns kvar var kallt och fett. Kvällsmåltider var tvungna att förbeställas kvällen innan, och om du ville ha din kvällsmåltid senare, kl. 20.00, fanns det ingen sallad kvar och de flesta av desserterna hade alla tagits och inte fyllts på. Sammantaget en mycket nedslående upplevelse, på plussidan, drinkar och vin är rimligt prissatta, utsikten är fantastisk, och om du gillar sport är faciliteterna mycket bra.

Be aware that when you book a room at this hotel through Mercury you get a hotel room and not a self catering apartment. These are inferior, old and smelly. The complex is very spread out and hilly and you need a buggy to get around. Fabio who is one of the drivers is very helpful and cheerful, unlike all the reception staff who are miserable and unhelpful. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Garda starting at 9am but if finishes early evening so you have to pay for a taxi to take you back up the hill to the resort. There is a number system so you all wait your turn but the staff just seemed to let anyone on the bus regardless of your number. On a positive note the pool area is very clean and well staffed and their is a decent cafe which serves pizza in the early evening.

We are staying for 18 nights with Jet2. The hotel is perfectly located. The free shuttle bus to Garda which starts are 9am is really appreciated. Though, if you are hoping to get to all the tourist sites early in the morning then you'll need to walk the 2.5km to the local bus station (about 40mins) as twice we were told by the hotel that it is impossible to get a taxi in the morning. But once you are in Garda town you can easily get the bus to Verona and to the Cable Car at Malcesine or the boat to Sirmeone. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and attentive. We (a family of four) are all vegan and they went out of their way to cater for us. You choose your dinner for the following the day via a printed form. Sometimes there is only 1 vegan option (a starter or a main)… and so thought we wouldn't get 2 courses.... but they always found something new to serve. Most meals were exceptional.. just a couple missed the mark. I found some of the main courses to be small.. and so I got extra salad buffet. I have to thank Carlos who even added a vegan dessert to our menus during the second week when I pointed out that we could only eat the fruit! Live musicians keep you entertained whilst you enjoy the meal and relax in the bar. The performers have been suitable chosen for the atmosphere. We benefitted from signing up to the hotel Sports Card. It was great value. We got to do Yoga and Golf Practise twice and will be doing tennis later in the holiday. The family have enjoyed using the gym. Nick who runs the gym and does the yoga can only be described as a mystical hippy.. His yoga instructions are spot on (even for a newbie like me). The Olympic size pool is well used by visiting professionals but there are times when you can also use the lanes or just mess about in the other half of it. There are plenty of sunbeds. Other activities are offered for free each day; such as Aqua-gym and Water Polos. I tried the Archery. Food is available by the pool, though limited vegan options. My only gripe is the noise of the music by the pool. It is so loud and incessant that after a few times visiting I decided not to go back. For me it is just not possible to read a book whilst being subjected to American or Italian ******** rap! etc. A few quiet hours would be appreciated. Thankfully, my room has a patio with a couple of sunbeds and so have been able to retreat there or to the beach. The rooms are kept really clean. Bathroom towels are changed frequently too. I wish they had the option to change the Yellow Pool towel if you are staying longer than a week. Presently it is not possibly without incurring a small fee.

Ok so I hope to give an honest balanced review of this resort. We had a lovely week, the pool is amazing, so big that you never feel crowded and easy to get a Sunbed any time of the day. The pool bar served great food and drinks were reasonable priced. The hotel and resort were all really clean and well cared for. On the negative side the hotel staff were a bit rude, as a previous reviewer described - they seem to ‘tolerate’ the guests. They’ll often just ignore you while you stand at the desk. And answer the phone in the middle of talking to you. In contrast the restaurant staff and cleaners are all lovely and friendly. A really weird thing was that one of our panorama lake view rooms didn’t have a shower! When I went to see if we could swap rooms, I was asked if I had ‘requested a room with a shower’ which seemed really odd, and I was also told ‘I recommend you try the bath’, as they had no rooms available to swap. Their website stated you can request a late checkout but when I asked I was told to guarantee this I would have to pay €290 for a junior suite .. for the extra 3 hours requested as a late checkout. In fairness to the hotel I asked again the day before departure and was given the late checkout in one of our rooms. The sports facilities are fab! But everything is extra , for example a padel court is €35. We don’t use the spa as it was too hot, but it looked nice , again that came with an extra charge , as did golf, tennis etc. I think hotel guests should at least get a cheaper rate to use the sports facilities, there was rarely anyone using them and I’m not surprised due to the cost. The half board breakfast was really good, well stocked, plentiful and a good selection. The evening meals were a bit odd as previous reviewers have stated, but there was always something to choose. If you like food you get a lot on the half board dinner, 2 courses which are like 2 main meals, then desert buffet. If you’re a fairly typical eater just one of the courses is more than enough for your dinner. The restaurant does not cater for food intolerance, they will tell you what’s in the meals so you know what you can and can’t have, but that’s it. So you’re lucky to be left with one food option and if you don’t like it then it’s tough. If you’re vegan, dairy free or gluten free then this isn’t the place for you sadly. Also you do need a car, the shuttle bus is too small and always busy, and the walk in to Garda is a good 35/40 minutes which was too much in the 33degree heat. All in all we had a lovely week and would stay here again despite my comments above. I’ve just tried to include what would be helpful to other travelers to know and I don’t mean to put anyone off staying here . The views are so pretty from the lake side rooms and restaurant. It’s central for visiting other pretty local towns .
