Garden City Hotel

I am a big brunch guy, and a bunch of friends decided to do this for the first time. For starters, it's about 140 pp, which includes tax and gratuity. For 2 hours, unlimited cocktails usually 4-5, but they were flexible with our group, and tequila sunrise was allowed. The usual bloody mary/Maria, screw driver, mimosa , wine, and I'm sure a few others. The buffet had everything imaginable. In addition to the staples of eggs, French toast, sausage, and bacon included crepes with fresh fruit, lobster, of which I had 2 tails. They had delicious shrimp cocktail, clams, and Oysters. A steak carving station with a delicious chimi churi sauce. There are plenty of fried options with shrimp and fresh salmon. Everything here was fresh and replaced consistently. It's high-end, but treat yourself if you have never been. We will be returning.

The grounds are amazing and very clean. We stayed at the hotel for 12 day's, my daughter came for treatment in Rockville Center. The staff was extremely helpful and nice & wr always felt safe. The rooms were nice and comfy. We had connecting rooms as her siblings came as well. The location was perfect near the Main Street with restaurants, shops and the train was right across the street. The food was great. My only wish was for the pool to be open a bit later. After a day of therapy and treatment it’s nice to unwind. We loved it though such a beautiful place.

My stay at the hotel was truly delightful, and the highlight was undoubtedly the Red Salt Room. The room itself was impeccable. It was clean, well-maintained, and exuded a sense of luxury that immediately put me at ease upon arrival. The decor was tasteful, with a modern yet cozy ambiance that made it easy to settle in and relax. The Red Salt Room deserves special mention. It was beautifully designed with a sophisticated color palette that complemented the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The attention to detail was evident, from the elegant furnishings to the soft lighting that created a warm and inviting atmosphere.

One of the best hotels. Amazing food at the Red Salt Room and ambience. From the moment you drive up to the entrance to checking in, incredibly friendly and welcoming. My home away from home. Not to mention you able to get a highly competitive rate if you are a AAA MEMBER. All in all, I felt like a million bucks in the morning ready to concur the world. And when you’re in medical sales, this is priceless.

My stay at the Garden City Hotel was excellent. Peaceful and very quite. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. Beautiful hotel, immaculate. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Very comfortable, plenty of soft pillows.

I stayed here for 1 month and it felt like a second home. The staff is top Tier. Thank you teddy, Herman, Luis, Derrick,Francis, geovanny, Mike the manger, all the valet, all the bell boys and all the bartenders. Appreciate you making my stay so enjoyable and memorable. See you soon!

Hello We attended a wedding there Friday night, and stay over. I am taking the time to write you to tell you how wonderful your STAFF is. You can buy great bricks and build what you have and get the best chef and serve what you did, but if the people you interact with are no good, then the bricks mean nothing and so what about good food. Everyone open doors for me, smiled, and even made small talk. I owned a on and off premise catering business for 42 years and just retired, so I think I know what I am talking about. A special treat at the Garden City Hotel occurs every other Saturday when the Red Salt Room is set for afternoon tea! Our experience with the wait staff there made our “tea party” celebration so special for my friend and me. The wait staff was not only helpful with suggestions about what to order, but they were also so friendly, kind and thoughtful. Within moments of our ordering, the waitress and waiter brought our individual teapots with the teas we had each selected and the large square plates with our 6 individual tea sandwiches as well as a 3-tiered tray with scones and desserts for us to share and a small plate with accoutrements to enhance the fare. Our table was quickly overflowing with little bites of heaven! One of the two wait staff had noticed that my handbag was on the floor and how I was struggling to find a place for my phone on the table. He immediately brought over a side table for my personal things before I could even make my request for his assistance. There was just the proper amount of attention paid to our table as our water glasses were refilled at the appropriate time and we were questioned if there was anything else we needed and . . . there never was ;) Since I had arrived earlier than my friend for the afternoon tea, I just wanted to mention how lovely it was that a manager greeted me warmly. We spoke for a few moments and I greatly enjoyed our conversation. He was friendly, gracious and kind! He made me feel right at home, even though it had probably been 10 years since I had been to the Garden City Hotel. The Garden City Hotel knows that it’s the people who make the difference!
